Apparently I’d have to get a “real ID” if I wanted to travel because that’s what they were telling me last time I went I there to get it renewed a week or 2 ago. You gotta have your “real ID” if you plan on traveling and its like extra hoops to jump thru so I said umm no thanks. Was hard enough getting my mail they wanted since I don’t get legal/government mail to my address in my name or if I do like most people I throw it out! Lol

Oh ya the enhanced drivers licences etc. Ya it makes it easy to cross for sure. But you are right it way more hoops, I don’t even know if it’s an option here anymorecircif it’s mandatory now, I thought it negated a passport but apparently not.
My local dmv said it will be mandatory for the state of MO in 2025 for all drivers to have the “real ID” requiring more paperwork to get the same piece of plastic
