Dark Sparks by @Mr.Sparkle

The frostiest I’ve grown of this strain yet and all 3 smell incredible it burns the nose its so floral and fruity. They may be small but consider that they were grown under 72w of SIL and underfed for most of their life.

“Da Green”

“Da Green #2

“Dark Spark”

@toastyjakes got me wanting to try a dry trim again so like the FAMs these are hung up with fan leaves removed.

Thanks as always to @Mr.Sparkle for always bringing some color and uniqueness to my grow it’s always a pleasure growing these out!

Outdoor Update

Been a cold, wet couple weeks, and not enough time to give these beauties the care they need. They’re alive though!

It’s been a chilly day to day had to put my jacket on, when I visited HardRock. He swapped me some dark sparkles I think I may pop a couple for the veg tent, when I have added my extension to it.

yeah my daughter BF was very happy when I showed him the seeds he has been pestering me for a week to start some more of reikios version of it, as he loves it as much as I do, and I don’t want to share lol. I want to try training them a bit to get multiple colas if I can.

@TrevorLahey, you are just J To The ROC-ing it, indoors and out…:+1:

Awesome job… Beautiful plants outdoors… Hope the weather holds out to finish… Have to agree, Mr. S’s Dark Sparks are a treat to watch grow out… not to mention the tasty bud they produce…lol

Some phenos just won’t produce multiple tops. I think the biggest factor in getting monster autos is having an incredible start with zero fuck ups. A good example is my recent run. The FAM autos and Dark Sparks were all popped same day, but the Sparks had a rough time adjusting to high heat and low light, while the FAM’s didn’t really mind the abuse and neglect. By the time the Sparks had gotten on their feet they were already starting to flower (they are really fast finishers). The result can be seen in the recent harvest where the FAMs were 4-6 times as big as the Sparks. You gotta have that great start with lots of good light and good food and good water and the stars have to align and your auto will just explode like a photoperiod. The Sparks can do it, @toastyjakes and @anon95954822 had a couple big ones recently, and if you look back at the F2’s from my first run there’s a quarter pound Dark Devil in there!

You can bend em, flop em do whatever you want, but if you don’t have a good start you won’t get the multiple colas.

Cheers for the tips man, in that case I hope my indoor growing is more condusive to bigger buds than my outdoor growing, at least there will be no snails and leaf hoppers chewing the fuck out of the leaves lol. I may start some when I try and re veg my hog plant, as I will run the veg tent on 20/4 lighting until it reverts back.

No don’t say that, must be something, can you hang an electric blanket amongst them, with a small tarp or something to keep the frost off.

It’s way too frigging early this year.

You shouldn’t even need an electric blanket, any old blanket should do the trick…

Do not place plastic directly against the plant.
If you plan to use tarps put sheets or blankets between the tarps and plants.

I dont really have any sheets or anything to drape over them, and now it’s pitch black dark out there to do anything.

It looks to be a light frost, and I’m used to having a couple of them this early. September frosts are usually okay, we shall see tomorrow I guess.
