Looking dank man! I’m digging your 91, good work on keeping it short with giant chunky buds!

Thanks :pray:t3: I managed to keep her ~800 ppfd @ the tops and turned out way better nose and chunkier. OGs and other plants I try to keep more 1200 ppfd range.

I cut a branch from each OG and for early sampling I can say that all 3 are most definitely different  Not great @ description of the complex smells but I’ll try.

Ghost OG :dog::fuelpump:
Has the most “lemon” I can pick up on. It’s super subtle, and it’s a lemon sour candy type of thing rather than lemon peel like you get with a lemon skunk/tree.

Skywalker OG :sparkles:
Has the most spicy fuel smell of the bunch, kinda reminds me of Fire OG cut that was in NorCal via Oaksterdam. Recognizable terps from Skywalker OG I got from store in Sacramento .

Triangle Kush :small_red_triangle::crocodile:
Don’t get any of the lemon, pretty complex and hard to describe what exactly is dominant. Almost like a piney herbal skunkyness.

Piescream :pie: :scream:
Least dry of the bunch has a super dank grapey sour cherry smell. More complex than “purps”. Has a dome wrecking effect pretty spacey and smiley like “wtf did I come down here for”:rofl:

That Grape pie is a killer

Seriously :flushed: the #27 is very grape pie dominate in flavor / smell with some add cherry pie complexity.

Never had Grape Pie but I did get some hydro dwc Grape Pie x Gary Payton from rec store with very similar grape notes.

I have not had Grape pie on its own

But I have bought legal wedding pie and talked about it with a homie

I’ll take a picture, it’s alright looking, but the general gassy smell, grape dank flavor, and potent effects are why I bought it for pain / sleepiness during my recovery from my minor hernia surgery.

Wedding cake is very nice, but when you said pie :pie: scream had this dome shattering effect, I knew that was this effect. It’s also why I try so much and discuss so much, to figure out the quirks and nuances of cultivars and effects of hybridization.

I ended up picking up some shatter of Death Bubba and Afghani Kush for more oomph from smaller doses, but the wedding pie provided plenty of relief. I just wasn’t able to smoke the same amount of flower as pre surgery.

Picture in next post

Sorry for the potato quality

Remember also, when looking at this, this was an eighth for 23 Canadian or 17 usd after tax and customer rebate.

Very good quality for that price. Craft cannabis on the legal market as some of you know can be ridiculously steep, like that time I paid almost 200 canadian for a half o of jealousy. That shit was beautiful and truly well done, but son, I ain’t made of money. So this eighth for 23, that’s a fair deal in my book when I need some in a pinch.

Not meaning to ramble, just was saying that Grape pie indeed does pack a punch… good hybrid fodder

After finally escaping trim jail we did have a good success overall yield was more or less the same.

Two things will improve:

  • PS27 needs more training and pruning to avoid larf since it has tendency to shade it’s self.
  • One of the TKs was too many branches so had a lot of tiny buds.

Was interesting individual plants yielded less but they were each plant yielded more evenly because we didn’t try to grow no-stretch Irene or Bubba with OGs. :upside_down_face:

Lol no-stretch nails that sort of plant… Jesus

Right lol, morale of the story is don’t grow no-stretch with OG or your going to have a bad time lol

So far early OG testing I am reaching towards Ghost the most followed by Triangle and Skywalker 3rd. All three are definitely slightly different smells with pretty similar long last OG buzz.

PS27 is interesting Grape + Cherry pie smell and flavor with strong head knocking effects. Effects are on the shorter end like a lot of cookie based stuff so I like to mix it with some OG.

Gary is way better picked @ 9 weeks instead of 10. A lot more gassy old ceder chest terps. Going longer had it come out more floral than I like.

HeadBand is smelling better too so maybe something with the Organics Alive nutrients instead of Advanced Nutrients Iguana organic line which was pretty inconsistent batch to batch. .

Definitely made the grow bags end up a lot cleaner @ the end without salts or fish emulsions left over.

The organics alive dry powders have a good natural source of sulfur so that might be the difference you are noticing (more sulfur).

Also, I don’t know if you remember but I think we talked a while back about the organics alive calcium.

Now that I’ve had a chance to use it for a month+ I have to say I am not crazy about it and won’t purchase again. I am still really liking the organics alive dry soluble nutrients (I only use the 4-5-5, 0-10-8 and 0-2-10) and their FPF plant extract. But their calcium burns too easily for my liking and seems to also cause imbalance issues. I like the other sources of calcium I use much better and will just stick with those in the future.

I was only using 1ml/gal or less and still got a few burned leaves from it.

I have FarmerJoe420’s cut of Gary Payton going right now and am at day 42F. Been trying to figure out how long to take her so I appreciate this comment. I also have his Bubba Kush cut and that looks waaaaaaay more ready to be taken down at 9 weeks then Gary does. However the Gary has really started to plump up the last few days so she might surprise me in the next couple of weeks and ripen up nicely.
