Trike's Grow Journey

One thing I’ve learned about plants from this area is that they love dry conditions. It takes a lot to get them pissed off about not getting water but if you give them too much they get pissed off quickly.

If you look at their root balls after a grow, they grow quite extensive root systems for efficiently pulling water out of the soil.

Thanks for this @lefthandseeds

Would bottom watering/SIP be better then watering from the top. But still seems like coco would keep absorbing until it’s saturated completed (need to test this tonight).

I’d give it a try. It’s similar to what I do and that works pretty well for me.

Durban Poison with a couple of weeks left.

Edit: She’s 32 inches tall out of the planter…after I lopped off 8 inches after the stretch finished..

Seeing is believing :face_with_monocle:

A short 5 second bottom soak and the next day a root shows up.

Because I’m a chronic spit tester , on the second one, I watered tiny amount down the cup wall.

Sometimes these cups show similar stress markings that look like roots, but you can see the root on the last pic peaking out at the bottom hole.

I keep saying it, but thank you again @lefthandseeds :green_heart:

The DP is now officially top heavy in the 2L pop bottle and won’t stand on its own.

In tiny tent, the larger 2 are Blue Dream and Sunny D autos.

The 2 red solo cups hugging the autos are clones from the Love Bud.

In the blue solo cups are 2 Syrian seedlings and a Durban Poison clone/reveg.

Started harvesting Harlequin buds as they start to show amber trichomes.

Really nice CBD/THC 5:2 smoke from the Columbian Gold x Thai x Swiss Landrace x Nepalese Indica.

Syrian seedlings are happy with tiny amounts of water on every second day. Roots are starting to show up in all the right places.

I should have loosened the roots during up-potting. I was wondering why she didn’t grow much after moving from the solo cup to the 1gal bag. :face_with_monocle:

I’m buy all my wife’s CBD gummies from Monarch Hill. They are nice folks, and seems like they have a very cool operation.

I also have a couple bags of their seeds too. One of these days I’ll get around to planting some…

Durban Poison ready to chop.

I’ve been vaping some of the larf this last week, just small pulls. Very nice effects of mood correction, clear headed and wanting to get on with whatever tasks are ahead. Felt some anxiety briefly yesterday and noticed later some short memory loss which reminds me that I’m actually still high.

Shout out to @tappy for showing us how well 2L pop bottles work.

:canada: :green_heart:

Edit: forgot to mention the was only under my TS 600 and not the TS1000

Coco/perlite Hempy style with daily feeds to run off.

A lot of my issues with coco/perlite last fall was me treating it like soil and waiting to long between wet feeds; waiting for it to dry. I learned that that it should be treated like hydro…always wet with nutrients. The perfect system for my LITFA issues.
