Trike's Grow Journey

Thanks @Tappy.

Amazingly they where all in soil. I probably killed at least 4 earlier plants with over watering, but just popped more until I had the # I wanted. My fav is the Banana Bread (Early PK x VB).

Uh-oh…I see it slowly happening. How many strains you have going now? Just the 5 from last post?

Your displaying all the signs of a chronic seed popper…if you can’t manage your addiction on your own, you may need to seek help from one of the ‘seed-hoarders anonymous’ threads…lol.

The words you’re using make it sound like this is only the beginning…lol. It’s too easy to go from 10 plants to 30, especially when using small containers.

But seriously, plants are looking good! Seed projects are always so much fun! Best of luck with that one! I’ve only tried Durban Poison once from a buddy who grew it. It was a dark purple and heavy, tight buds…was really good!!

I’ve been known to love a few seedlings to death too…lol.

Also hope your MRI results come back the way you want them! Are you hoping for surgery or hoping for a little r&r and the body will heal?

Just hoping the MRI reveals the root of the problem. It’s also a prerequisite before getting into more advanced physio care, like they have at the Pan-Am. Hoping to get cortisol shots until then. :crossed_fingers:

Haha yep that’s me. I gotta try em all. SOG and Solo cups will be the way. :man_farmer:

@Tappy I was working on my seed spreadsheet last night. I have 59 packs totaling +500 seeds. I realize that’s probably a small amount for most OG’ers, but for me…between male with their pollen and my STS, I think I’m set for life. Oh and don’t forget those future fall and spring coop boxes to boot. :green_heart: :man_farmer: :green_heart:

Good grief!!!

Now that is a list!!! Set for life, yeah, I think so…lol. I was under the impression that you were new’ish to the hobby…lol.

I think most of them are just since joining OG a year ago.

LOL!!! Isn’t it crazy how that happens?!! I started with 6 pack of seeds purchased for a quick sensi run…here we are a few years later with more seeds than I really know what to do with.

It’s such a wholesome hobby though!
Creates good friendships and a positive community, teaches patience and problem solving…gardening in general is just awesome. I feel it’s incredibly important for children to be involved in the veggie garden in summer…mother nature is our teacher.

Well this certainly feels like another faceplant.

I went to Toronto Saturday morning and came back Sunday night. So no watering/feeding since Friday lunch time. Had to wait until this morning to look at them due to the light cycle.

RH 29%
Temp 16c/61f due furnace vs artic vortex.
Plant pots felt as lite as Styrofoam and so wilted most of the stems just gave up.
Now all I have to do is wait for the nanners.

Hey you never know…. Some plants are super resilient/stable. One little hiccup they may be fine my friend

Oh, man…brutal. Some were salvageable though? Temps and rh are at lows around here too. So nice not having to worry about budrot this time of year! Hope you and the wife had a great time in T-dot!!! Hopefully your plants rebound okay for you! :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Thanks. They seem to be recovered. But now I check them every day top to bottom for balls and nanners :mag_right: :crossed_fingers:

It’s probably time for me be more proactive about managing temp and humidity. I’m just reading about AC Infinity controllers for multiple devices. Probably be my next purchase.

Toronto was fun. Got to see over 100 Tom Thompson’s plein air oil sketches. Casa Loma was super cool as well.

3x Love Bud (Lucky 13 Seeds) are loving the coco solo cups. Day 30 from sprout (guessing as I forgot to record it) and 9 in 12/12. Just waiting to see if any will be male before up potting.

Cleaning up my grow stuff and found a pump and neoprene pucks (plugs?) I completely forget about.

The cuts were all droopy yesterday, but have all perked up. About the one fan leaf, I had to try (fafi).

I seem to be on my own solo cup challenge with the Love Bud’s (Lucky 13). One of 3 is male. I think I’ll up-pot one of the 2 females and then continue my personal solo cup challenge with the other.

Kind of crowded, but I have a fan blowing on it all. Averaging 40% RH and 74F. Had to elevate some to even the canopy.
In the pop bottle is Durban Poison (Canuk).
To the right of the DB are to Harelquin’s (Medicine Man) the smaller containers.
In the back is Silver Surfer Haze (Blimburn).

I think I’m feeling more confident with this current grow. Coco is super friendly and to be honest, I think my problems last time with hermies and crinkly leafs was probably due to me letting the hempy bottoms reservoirs, go stale and or dry out. Always shit scared of over watering, I didn’t know a at the time that coco is hydro. I now feed daily (well it’s now 2x with the solo’s). Plants are very happy as in the leaves look the healthiest I’ve seen in a long time. For someone who has fought with LITFA, this current arrangement seems to fit for me.

Very nice!! I’ve wanted to try coco after seeing some of the massive rootballs some guys get. Your solo cups will just be a mass of roots! Can’t wait to see! Everything’s looking good! Love the cloner!! Keep on keeping on!

11 days and we have some roots. :face_with_monocle:

This may be my first successful clone, after more attempts than I care to say. Its one of two cuts from the same female. The other clone needs a few more days of root growth in the cloner.

A few weeks ago I ordered some Bud Explosion. I added it at 1/2 strength to my feed. About a week later I noticed the leaf problem (upper left in photo) in most of my plants. I think that’s a sign of some deficiency like cal or mag, which I’ve been including in my feeds all along.

So I flushed the coco in all of them. Then skipping the Bud Explosion, resumed just the Megacrop feed starting at 1/2 strength and increasing.

Since then new leafs are looking good. I think adding the new product changed the ph and possibly locked out either the cal or mag.

I’m still stoked to use Bud Explosion, but need to get some ph gear sometime so I’ll be better prepared.

Here’s the last of my Syrians seeds in coco. :star_struck:

The one I was growing earlier has been curing. But theirs probably only a couple grams there after surviving my overwatering in soil. But a couple of initial vapes felt really nice. With mixed cannabinoids and lower Thc it was still good with the effects; body warmth and feelings of positivity. Definitely ordering more of them. :canada: :green_heart:

Edit: Of course I’m going try cloning like mf with these.
