Admission #1xxx, I ignored the nanners and that NL2 plant is still in the tent. There are no young flowering plants in the tent so I decided to ride it out and hope for the best. Time will tell.
I’ve been running the Jacks 0-12-26 at a 4/3 ratio the past couple weeks and my fans are starting to drop but that makes everything a bit more manageable. I’ve got several colas with light damage but things still should turn out okay if I stick with it a bit longer. The NL2’s are getting close.
The White Widow continues to say “F You” to all of my attempts to control her. For anyone reading along, this is not how you do it. But, for the sake of advancing the hobby, I’ll put my stupidity into perpetuity on the internet.
Happiness is a clean tent. I couldn’t take it anymore.
Main point of the run was to replenish my NL2 stash and that’s seems successful, they are pretty done at day 60 something.
The TWxOH wasn’t quite done but the main colas were close. Very heavy yielder…
The White Widow probably could’ve gone 3 more weeks at least. I’ve got a couple colas I’ll dry and try but most of it’s going straight to RSO to try and salvage something.
I’ll check back in a month with a report but otherwise that’s a wrap, thanks for looking. As I tell my wife, “I’ll do better next time …”
Was skimming back through the thread again and saw this “Growlink feeding 8-12x per day. Two 0.5gph drippers per plant, around 110 seconds each event.” I know its a ways back, but any idea when you were at field capacity on these days? ie; did 8 events bring u to saturation and the last 4 were maintenance?
Field capacity on all of the slabs eventually settled into the mid to high 50’s.
One issue I had this time was due to the size of the plants (they were 6’+ tall). They were drying back hard and I needed to extend my irrigation period way longer than I would’ve liked to actually steer the plants. Then I was drying back into the 20% range which is supposedly a big no-no for rockwool integrity. A 3-4’ tall plant works best for my system….
Ideally in generative I’d like to bring it up to FC in the course of 2 hours then not water again until tomorrow. In vegetative, still bring it up to FC over a couple hours but give maintenance shots until maybe 2 hours before lights out.
I also learned this run that I need to fool my Growlink steering program a bit. It asks for lights on/off time to build its irrigation strategies. But it works better for me so far if I approach that as irrigation start/stop times vs lights on/off, that way it will limit events to the specific time period I set, and not just my 12 hour daytime period.
Also, astute viewers (!) will note I’ve gone back to my hillbilly wooden high cfm kit poles with 3d printed holders.
The AC Infinity high CFM kit sucks balls. Whoever designed that should be fired. Take a relatively simple concept and convolute the hell out of it …
Do not buy it unless they redesign it. You will regret it. Part of their solution to affix the bars to the tent poles is Velcro tape. C’mon man. I generally like their stuff but this is a hard fail.
It’s my understanding that the “blueprints” all revolve around environmental control. You can preset temps, humidity, CO2, etc for various stages of growth. Unfortunately I can’t afford to use Growlink for that stuff, I’ve got my trusty Controller 69🙂.
I swear I read they had presets for coco, rw for irrigation and ec but maybe it was wrapped up with their environmental packages and monthly subscription fees.
They do have probe calibration presets for rockwool, etc and you can set your EC goal in the crop steering program, but I think that’s as far as we can get without pretty much going into a commercial setup.
