Oh yea, the seeds will still grow, def true. Iām more curious as whether this practice, repeated over time/generations has any detrimental effects on a seed lines performance / genetic expression.
For me itās undetermined. Iāve never done it over multiple generations, nor would I suggest it. The seeds Iāve grow out from doing it one time where happy and healthy, with no visible detracting mutations.
Its in the journey they say
But the instant your brain builds that neural bridge and you get it. Feels like an illumination. That moment is worth it too
Iāve always loved the tone of Collins voice. This one brought me back to public school and put some happy tears in my see holes. Thank you @ifish .
I reveged a couple of times in the past , plant / buds looked the same come harvest buuuuut lacked the omph / hit it had originally ( very noticeable ) so I knocked doing that on the head
Not sure if it affects the seeds tho so I avoid seeds from reveged plants if I can , if I know about it ( personal choice )
Or an elite cut that the original clone had been reveged previously for whatever reason
: )
@Budderton his voice has aged well
Tolerance builds quickly so I like to go back and smoke some of the older strains and see how they compare to the newly created crosses.
Some will still be good to me such as smoking earlier generations of the Nympho.
Then there are those crosses that really wasnāt all that and the only reason they where good is because they are new to my system. Lack of long time effectiveness is a sure sign that the plant isnāt up to par. A person who doesnāt have access to several ounces of a cross will never know that the cross may run out of steam with a few weeks of use.
Then there are those who donāt care because you will be the one smoking it and not them.
Good morning everyone. I hope all your projects go as planned.
Oh snap, he done called us out boysā¦(spits in dirt road)
Not calling anyone out. Just showing what can be done over multiple generation.
Iām coming at you as a right here right now breeder versus someone who has never done before, or one who done it 50 years ago.
Folks did I mention that these are autos. So bro in no away Iām calling you out.
Auto are grown from seed and Iām showing you the consistency of what my seeds produce even when grown by someone else. I gave these guys no advise as to how to grow these plant in any way. I told them to show me what they can do with them. As you see they got the same plant that I get. No fuxkery involved.
How many of you have seeds from packs that are representative of what the breeder says he is selling.
Three (Mendo purp x kimbo kush) x P25 phenos
My target plant and flower structure to enhance or at the very least maintain in crosses is pheno #4
The 2 other undesirable dominant phenos
I dont need much of the dead horse weāve kicked in here to move this forwardā¦
Itās hard to help people who get mad and want you to hold their hand through the process. I donāt consider myself anymore or any less than anyone else who post here. Iām not here to boost my ego at the expense of belittling some one else. The success of any business comes with the efforts of the owner.
ā¦enough with the resume dude, we get itā¦you are king hereā¦me and the others are princes in ur court
I donāt see any reason to get upset because no one else is showing what Iām showing or telling you what Iām saying.
For everyone thatās saying what canāt be done when Iām showing the exact opposite. And I can show you that in any cross and take that cross in any aesthetic direction that I like.
Now Iām making crosses that better represents the look of modern commercial bud while smoking like an old ford. Itās all in the effort.
I just need more time They all look nice and uniform though. Can see what direction you went when it came to structure. Nice selections.
Im not upsetā¦yetā¦relax manā¦talk about something other than you and ur project is all
@Blue-Tri - All I have to say is wow! Thatās impressive work. What Iām most impressed with is not the final quality, which by pictures looks excellent. The way you took it from gen 1 to gen 6, you can see the selection process at work. Itās pictures like these that show what truly talented breeders are able to accomplish over time. Thanks for sharing! The picture behind your words is starting to become more clear.
Also, please donāt tell me your bud smokes like an old ford. That sounds gross but made me laugh my ass off. Too funny!
@Mudballs - Donāt feel like youāre in the shadows man! Those plants look like they produced better flower than Iām accustomed to growing/smoking! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you brother @crunkyeah
Iāll learning is what itās all about. You can see my learning over the generation which equate to progress.
@mudballā¦ I donāt mind helping you if I can brother. I take no offense because I remember where I came from. We are all here to learn.
You said you werenāt gonna discuss its creation manā¦yeah im twisted but you earned those pics. Shine on
