Pollen blizzard in there; that male’s a stud and looks like you’re keeping them happy! Nice work man, thanks again!
This is a real place, by the way, in Liberty, NY and it’s abandoned and pretty awesome to explore, slightly dangerous structurally but nothing you can’t be careful about. The former Borscht Belt resorts in the Catskills have been largely abandoned to neglect rather than demolished so there’s quite a few out there, but this is supposed to be the most impressive remaining building. It was pretty damn cool! This is the former pool building that was heated in the winter so you could go skiing and then swim in here. When we visited it was about 20F out as you can see:
Cool!
I always liked the idea of urban exploration
I saw this one in a video of abandoned structures. There were some really neat ones but I find them being abandoned as sad.
Okay, I pulled the male tonight and tomorrow I’ll start cleaning up the tent. Holy shit does one hefty male plant produce a lot of pollen! It’s everywhere, I’m going to have to mist the whole basement now. But I did find a big storm window and clean it, then beat the shit out of the male plant over it, and here’s what I got:

And save to file:
I’m gonna bake some dry beans tomorrow and put them into a sealed container next to this for a week or two to dry it out before I put it in the freezer.
Just beautiful bud.
Funny, I used a storm door window too!
That place would be such an awesome greenhouse
Nice pollen vortex picture!
I didn’t even think of it, but I did make a pollen vortex on that plate
We definitely got lots of seeds forming, my friends!
@buckaroobonsai @Weednerd.Anthony @Guitarzan we did it, my OGs!
Also how crazy is Vortex, these plants are only at F26 and look at how frosty they are despite being seeded heavily !
Yeah that’s frosty, might be you’ll get some fine hash from this run.
What a bush! I hope the branches will hold the seed weight!
That’s my plan! Got lots of flowers but I won’t mind dedicating an entire run to up the hash stash
I whacked the male today but not before giving him another shake over the storm window, he’s been sitting in the corner outside the tent getting dry for two days. Got another pretty good pile of sifted pollen to add to the jar, looks like I’ll have quite a volume of it to use and get out there. I did end up oven-drying a pound of beans and putting them into a big jar with the pollen jar sitting on top and sealing it all up, put in the back of a basement cabinet for now and I’ll add a humidity meter tonight to see how dry it goes.
Day F28 in the seed tent, the ladies are enjoying the extra space now and getting rinsed off daily, slowly getting them clean then I’ll have to wet vac the floor with soapy water afterwards. The runt got to be the tallest plant in the tent, and in a 2G instead of a 5G at that! I love plants:
That’s quite packed, bet there happy to have some room now that he’s gone. Prepare the stalks though: looks like some head will have troubles standing up while full of seeds
@funkyfunk it should get better after a defoliation soon, I’ve just been running trying to keep up with a dozen things lately with fall ending. I may engage the late scrogging net just to keep things up but I’ve got lots of yo-yos too!
hehe indeed a defoliation will help given the overall explosion. They seem to by able to handle your timing anyway
They are tied down in spirals! Wait until I take off some leaves and you’ll see how much they made a vine hedge
what’s the over under on final seed weight in grams?
@antheis you wanna be the bookie?
Hahaha I was thinking I’m going to have to run a contest of guessing the seed count or weight. Maybe a “which mom is putting down the most seed” guess too, winners get some Vortex pollen?
