Your proof is in your plants. You grow some great trees @Meesh! Your doing it right. Having your soil tested first and going from there is a good idea.
Out here we drive around on four wheelers with GPS coordinates that tells us where to take soil samples in our fields to have it tested. We have this tool that you step on and it takes out the right amount of soil needed for testing. It’s bagged and to the next part of the field we go.
Just a few new plants
Perennial phlox. Is this not just the daintiest and sweetest plant ever?
Even more new Coleus. Found so many cool variations this year
Another Perennial type of Salvia. I have 4 different colors now. They never stop blooming.
Love how the flower bracts are black with the indigo flowers. I have a pink one I started from seed like that too called summer jewel.
Oh and here it is in front of the summer jewel I mentioned
Another pink daisy for my collection
Some bitchen annuals native to Australia. Called Joey. You know I had to have these unique beauties
Agastache aka hummingbird mint
Also some milkweed to attract the monarchs. Guess I didn’t take a pic. It’s not blooming yet anyway. You aren’t missing much.
You know how I love my trailers…
Dichondra silver falls
Petite licorice plant
Petunias because Petunias!
Some of my seedlings got a transplant today
Dwarf Sunflowers
Annual Verbena
Gazania
Almost forgot this beauty, I went back twice and got more. Mecardonia also an annual
This is the 2nd year for my Japanese Painted Fern. It’s called Godzilla so here’s hoping it gets much bigger. Really is a gorgeous fern
Hmm
Growing up I am biased towards Persian Saffron so assuming the best saffron comes from khorasan iran
which is 36N
Vegas is 36N
It seems like a good amount of work growing and harvesting which i have no clue about or where to buy khorasan bulbs
