I was trying to figure out what it was… I couldn’t see your sentence at first… I was thinking that I hope thats a piece of grilled fish. Man, I love marinated tuna steaks. I have a kick ass marinade I was taught back in Cape Hatteras, NC. I may have to order some online some day. That’s good eating there.

Found some old spices in my cupboard…says it expired 2 years ago…lol…do spices really “expire” or just lose flavour over time? Will I be alright to use this?

Yeah they’re safe to eat, they just won’t have the same vibrancy of fresh herbs.

That’s what I figured. They’re all bagged and dried anyway…how could they go bad?..amirite?
Lol…already threw the spices in…but thank you for confirming. Pffft…expiry dates

Back in the day, cooks didn’t really measure spices. They would open the container, and smell then base ‘how much’ on that.
