This is from Sunday, eight days ago (I think). It was the first night at my son’s place in Portland. I reverse seared three beautiful, custom cut rib eyes, with russets and fresh asparagus (which hadn’t gone to seed). It was a delicious meal with family. Is there anything better? (Neither of them are weedies.) For me, I think not.
This is what I had most mornings, and do here too. Simple food for a simple guy.
You can tell I’m not at home by the plates! HA! I love our white Bauhaus plates.
