Love some smoked salmon 
It’s not nearly as portable as they’d have you believe 
Mrs Foreigner used to work there which is where it came from.
I’m not allowed to use it on my balcony 
so it collects dust. We haul it out every once in awhile.

I fell in love with “hot smoked salmon” when stationed in Alaska during the 70s. There were 4-5 really good smoking guys that always had sort of an informal contest for their smoked salmon.
So about 20yrs ago I set out to learn to make it…and according to various friend’s demand, I think I’ve got it down pretty good.
I keep 10lbs in the freezer, and when it starts to get low, I keep my eyes open for it to go on sale. The Weber is a great tool, but only handles so much at a time, so I usually do 10lb batches.

Looks killer I got a old smoker out back haven’t cranked up in a few years might have to get it cleaned up to get some smoking

Just had a nostalgic moment and waded through a crowd of teenagers for a slice of pizza, lol. That brought back memories. Had to use stock photo cause I ate it too fast

These were triangles 
I was in a Pizza Hut one time and they asked if it was ok that we get a square pizza instead of a round one because they were out of round pans.
How does that happen?

I keep this in my rig hunting … when it’s slow we’ll have a stew, or some recently harvested rabbits,… grouse being a personal favorite
Edit I also keep a bunch of emergency meals that I guess don’t expire till like 2048 lol

They are fun. Picked two up at a yard sale and replaced the burner in them both… we have a Bradley puck electric one. But the little chief is where it’s at.
