Not to be an ass but brie usually gives me nothing. I had one that was decent once but every brie since has been tasteless. Nice creamy texture but 0 taste
The brie I’ve found in the US doesn’t compare to what I ate when I lived in France (30ish years ago)…
That makes me feel better, a chunk of the mass produced cheese here is garbage compared to imported especially if it’s not old. Sometimes less aging and compromising on ingredients. There are some phenomenal local cheese producers where I’m at though
