What do stoners eat? 🍴 (Part 3)

I let the little guy go free, it was far too small. Besides I want raccoon or squirrels. I use green walnuts and shelled corn as bait for the traps.

I let the little thing go. Now if I had kept the sparrows I had caught I could have cooked them all in a pie together.

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty sparrows baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn’t that a dainty dish to set before the king?
The king was in his counting house counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlour eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes,
When down came a sparrow and pecked off her nose!

How did you cook those beans? Roast? Looks delicious!

Blanch them about one minute, refresh them in ice water.

After the chicken was done, i added thinly sliced onion to the pan and let er rip till they’re caramelized, one or two minutes.

Add beans, cook for one minute, add chicken drippings from the resting pan and a pat of butter

I used a cast iron. the purple beans turned green when I blanched them.

Seriously though…I’d try anything, at least once.
