What kind of pest is this ? Spider mite? Help t.i.a

Hmm doesn’t look like a mite to me… not really sure what it is though.

Looks almost like a clear wood tick. Not plant related more of a problem for humans but I am sure it must be something else.

Yeah idk what it is hard to see but if you look in the tent you can see on moving here or there I had gnats and have been struggling to get rid of them but they are starting to fade out pretty much but I saw something moving on the bottom of my tent I wiped the tent where I seen it moving and had a better look and this is what I saw

I agree, it does look like a tick in that image. It could be a Strateo-S mite. Small, brown, fast moving soil mite that feeds on fungus gnat larva.

Just how big is the bug, can you see it clearly with naked eye or are you using a scope or micro scope , Size does matter LOL
Looks like a deer tick to me also but could be any of the above bugs given, need more info.

Apparently no spider, as I counted six legs, maybe an aphid? :sunglasses:

Adult Tick will have 8 legs but a larva tick will have 6

I think you’re right, don’t think you can see naked eye a mite, that was my guess … :sunglasses:

It’s a tick! Safe for plants not for you and your pets!!

You can definitely naked eye a mite if you know what you’re looking for.

I just had spotted mites and i be damed if I could see them without a microloop , suckers are small.
What mite can you see with naked eye.
Them suckers are fast too LOL

Neither do I! Naked eye you can detect the damage they provoke, but I need my scope to see those little bastards … :sunglasses:

It wasn’t spotted with my eye movement was I believe it was a fungus gnat that spotted moving as I am battle them as well but slowly getting rid of I looked under a 60× microscope that it attaches to phone and spotted this
