I’d like to take a roll call as to how many biscuit heads are here. Talk some about the recent run they just had and how on point they were the whole time. Favorite memories or best stories from shows/tours you’ve been on. How long you been listening to the biscuits and whatever else you’d like to share about the biscuits.
I’ve been into the biscuits for over ten years now. Only followed them for a week once in 09, went to camp in 10/11/12. Don’t get to see them much since they dont come down south and my work schedule is crazy. So I treasure every show I can get to. B4L!!!
Took 25mins on YouTube but I finally figured out you were talking about the Disco Biscuits. Had never heard their stuff before, not bad for an electronic jam band, pretty unique
They’re definitely an acquired taste. Not for everyone with there 15-25 min jams. You have to know the songs to understand when they move on to the next one. Wife says it all sounds the same to her.
I’ll have to find it on nugsnet. Favorite years for me is 07-09. 07 all day though. I’m really digging the new stuff theyve been putting out. @TreeTops
Used to be one of my specialties when I ran the nearby mini-kitchen…
There are some tricks/secrets to ‘Bomb’ Country Gravy!
I love the stuff-but on thick slices of buttered/grilled Crusty Italian bread
(SACALIDGE!)
But gonna have to go check-out the band! Just the name makes me curious!
Then you’d really like the lazers they bring out when the venue allows them. Best time I had with the lazers was down here at suwanee music festival which is held in the woods. Made the trees look otherworldly
I would compare it to a live DJ in band form. It’s jamtronica. There older stuff (99-05) is more like dead/phish to me. Just tweaked to their style. 07–present is more electronic/jam. When they switched drummers is when they changed there style up
I highly prefer Allen. Fits a lot better into the group. Granted sam was a good drummer. I think they just wanted to go in a different direction and be that stand out band to start a new genre
Nah, I’m not a big electronic music person. Prefer live bands. Ive heard it’s beautiful up there though. Only festivals I’ve been to is camp bisco, hulaween, and bear creek. @Lady.Zandra63
Electric Forrest isn’t just electronic music-- it’s the local Music Festival… Called ‘Electric Forrest’ because it’s back n the woods and has huge Laser/light shows during the concerts…lasts 3 days-- camping, swimming, and a LOT of Partying! Usually 10+ bands… @Cyr_grow
