Torn between these two lights. What do you guys think? One is a Grandmaster LEDs Tarantula Torch with 2400 LEDs, 320 watts, 4 bars, and a 5-year warranty. The other is an AC Infinity Evo 3 with 840 LEDs, 280 Watts, 3 bars, and a 2-year warranty.
Either would work but I would go with the 320 watt.
I’d go with whatever gave me the best footprint for the space.
More coverage the better
I would agree with Doug and go with the 320w. Is the ballast/power supply able to sit outside of the tent?
Definitely the torch. Better overall coverage and output. The fallout you’ll get from the AC evo3 on the edges will hurt your overall yield. I own 2 evo3’s which I do like but are very situational for me.
Yes. Although I don’t know if that’ll be necessary as the tent is in an unheated basement and it stays pretty cool down there.
Yes it is a cool, sleek light. I think it would be all right if you could have it a little higher up so you’d get better coverage. But The Grandmaster LEDs tarantula torch can be much closer to the plants as it has better coverage. Both cool lights.
Good call! My basement stays pretty cool even with being framed in with heat. My 4x4 runs more heat wise since the lighting is different compared to my 5x5 that has similar bar lights.
