Will glow in the dark anything stress plants?

As the title says.
I have a little @VIVOSUN dehumidifier in my tent and it has a glow in the dark C on the front.
First off, I would never have bought if I knew this and second, why the fuck would any grow company do this? There’s absolutely no reason I can think of… :-1::-1:

I have since put electrical tape over it as I have a DLA5.3 that has thrown 3  in a tent within a room that has zero light. Let alone I do not run any type of lights after dark in my house. Yes I use candle light 99.9% of the time as I live off grid and save my solar battery juice for my plants and fridge.

Will glow on the dark anything stress plants?

Big love :potted_plant:

I have solar leds that are dim but on near a few of my outdoor plants and they didnt seem bothered by it.

Granted my ocd for indoors would have me avoid anything the glows.

I have a bunch of glow in the dark lst clips on a plant in flower. I don’t think it’s causing any problems.

Makes sense, 100%

Just trying to find the possible source of the  and the only light source was that.

Wildly stupid design none the less.

Might be genetics.

Of course but I figured bodhi’s stuff was tested in extreme conditions…

I have one outside and it was 35f this morning. Had ice in the bed of my truck and she’s still going strong.

Oh well. They’re plucked.

I still find it weird that grow companies would do this. I can’t see any benefits to have glow in the dark anything for indoor cultivation.
Seems like a waste on their end when you could just make it not glow… :person_shrugging:

I think a lot of these designs were meant to keep outside of the tent Or enclosure. And run some ducting. Some of these units did have the ability to turn off the control LCD. Not sure if yours in particular does, I would double check it might be able to. Cheers everyone!!!

This baby was definitely made for inside the tent.

Super tiny unit with just an on/off switch.

I’ll bet 2:1 it was the marketing guy…
 that kind of stuff… it’s always the marketing guy…

I found “Liquid Electrical tape” was just the thing for covering that sort of stuff (leftover from a light build)

So long as you have less than 0.3 lux (full moon max) your plants shouldn’t stress.

Cheers
