Ya like @gramps said !calcium for strong bones!
They get a cal/mag drench next week!
That is funny and interesting @Worcestershire_Farms
Iāll have to go snap a pic of the neem oil I have. It is just the pure stuff. You have to mix it with soap for a surfacant and water. Iāve never used the premixed, store bought kind. The smell makes me gag and it sticks in your nose for hours after. To me it smells like rotten indian food farts. Vile. Yes @Tinytuttle you are a freaky weirdo. jk Hell, I love the smell of gasoline, so what do I know.
gonna need to rent a scaffold to take it down?
Now your talking bring on the big girls .
Sufferinā succotash, Ms. Meesh has only been growing for 3 years, and look at how she has already fine tuned her bodacious plants. Stay tuned for the pendulous flowers forthcoming everyone!!
Inspirational for all newbiesā¦for sure!
Head high by July! Applies to corn and cannabis.
Great looking plants Meesh!
That is a small tree. It past plant a while back. Beautiful looking tree.
I know this sounds kinda crazy, but Dad taped more of those super strong earth magnets to the 3 smallest plants yesterday and I actually think it does something. They seem to be responding today. Very very perky.
Gave a heavy kelp feed to the 2 girls in the containers today. Itās been an hour now and they are saying āWheeeeeeeee!ā The Spectral Tangerine is out of transplant shock and starting to take off. Bruce the practice girl looks mighty nice for a 10 gallon plant. Sheās coming along exactly as I wanted her. Resembling the CBD plant size I grew last year in the same size pot. Iām not familiar with growing Bruce Banger, if I recall they usually have some medium sized buds. Canāt wait to see how she looks in flower. I love my big plants, but container grows are more challenging as I have to control all of their input. Iāll get a new video update for you all this week. The plants change so much in just a weekās time now.
Thanks everyone for the kind words!
Good thing I bought that extension ladder eh?
Has to be something within the magnetic field of the plants, but I believe it. Several studies have shown that if you pass a mild current through a metal structure submerged in the ocean, the corals attached to it will grow faster. It somehow increases the ability of the coral to create calcium carbonate skeleton.
I almost forgot to mention that Dad came by yesterday and added a 3rd trellis layer to the Orange Goji and Cackleberry. The Orange Goji is the same height as the Blue Dream and Blue Gelato now and the trunks on the later plants have visibly thickened. Speaking of the Blue Dream and Blue Gelato 41ā¦ I have yet to look it up, but do they both have Blueberry as a parent? cuz the plants look identical.
Thank you! I blame it all on the flowers and other plants I grow the rest of the year! Practicing on all plants is a great education for growing cannabis. Understanding what nutrients do what and when, how plants grow, the differences between growing annuals and perennials and understanding your growing zone makes all the difference in the world imo.
Almost forgot the most important thing to practiceā¦ How to water properly!!! That was my hardest lesson!
Thought that It was knee high by 4th of July ā¦lol I think @Meesh is ahead of the game Regardless!
Canāt wait to see whatās popping come October @Meesh
Me too! And not just cuz I get to try out all the bud. Curiosity has me like a cat. Want to see what all these strains are gonna do and what my pruning has made them do. lol This will be a first with sexing out regs in pots first. Curious how much it slows them down, whether I will need to use bigger interim pots, give them heavier feeds while still in the containers etcā¦ Boy, my list of wonder is pretty long! But itās still July and they havenāt started to bud yet. By end of Oct I will be over it and ready to play in other areas in my garden. Plus, the paranoia portion of the grow has barely begun. Last year, I got nervous to leave the house in flower. Worried about rippers. sigh For now though, Iāll enjoy the excitement.
I wouldnāt trip until week 6 any ripper earlier than that is a kid and deserves the premie trash my first outdoor at 15 they got me bout 3 or 4 weeks in to this day I wonder who got it and how disappointed they were
Exactly, if they have enough will to scale my fence in view of all my neighbors who are home on covid lockdown, somehow untangle the plants from the trellises and drag the 6 footers back over the fence. Dog bless em. They almost deserve the damn plants! In all seriousness, if nothing else, itās the Orange Goji. It is gonna give it away to the neighborhood. That plant absolutely reeks and itās still in veg!
Looking most awesome Ms. Meesh. I donāt think Iāll get one quite tha large this year. I dragged my feet early on but I was right. Itās been too dry this year. I have a couple in the ground but weāll see. I put everything in pots for a few reasons. A couple of those may surprise me. Keep the green thumb green.
Okay so both the Blue Dream and Blue Gelato 41 are Blueberry Crossesā¦ Although BD is 60/40 Sativa dom and the BG 41 is 60/40 indica dom. Instead of the Haze, BG41 is crossed with thin mint gsc and sherbert. The 2 plants in the garden are identical. Iām guessing they both grow exactly like the Blueberry. Iāve never grown straight Blueberry, but it makes sense. Canāt believe I didnāt notice the same parent before. Iām really curious to see if I like the BG 41 as much as the BD. I highly doubt it. Never looked up the BG 41 before now. I won the seeds and grew it to find out what all the fuss is with this gelato fad and compare to the old skool bud. Iām more curious than ever now. Hey, I forget is the Male plant cited first in a cross? Am I correct by saying the dad was Blueberry?
Since Iām talking about strains, if you like stinky dank grow out some Orange Goji you guys. In all my years of being a stoner, it is def in the top 5 of smelliest strains Iāve ever come in contact with. Do you concur @Howard.Crane? That sucker is big too. Man, I wonder what she would have done if she hadnāt had to show sex in the pot first. This strain is blowing my hair back.
