2020 Cannabis with Meesh

I had a strange thought. Wonder if the Mammoth P had something to do with those balls growing like that overnight? I remember a grower’s log or video or something of a dude who used it too and said except when seed making. He never said why. Obviously something with extra Phosphorous uptake, but I don’t understand male plants, seed making or herms as far as growing stuff goes. lol Maybe it does something crazy to male plants. Anyone have an idea?

I’m still completely dumbfounded. I watered and looked at every plant out there the evening before. The OG Kush had nice little buds forming, tons of pistils, nothing hanging there. I wish I hadn’t freaked out and snapped a pic before I chopped it. There were balls hanging from every branch. It looked like that should have taken weeks to develop. It was shocking, wasn’t even halfway in on my first cup of morning coffee on my garden stroll and I could see it from 12 feet away without my glasses on. Do they grow that fast normally? I mean holy shit. The last herm I had was an auto that I didn’t realize until it was chopped and partially seeded. Never even noticed it. Swear it was probably only a node or two on that one. Never seen a plant like that before in person and not at that stage I guess, boy was it obviously not right, even at first glance. lol

could it have been the aphids?..I have only had herms a couple times and both times the plant was stressed somehow. And aphids I remember mainly from plants getting too wet.

The aphids? That’s a thought. Didn’t consider it infested, and I treated all the other plants for aphids too even though they didn’t have them. However, I’m no expert at aphids could be.

What do you mean plants getting too wet? Were you growing outside in the ground or are you talking about leaves? It’s impossible to over water my ground here. We never have rain and I don’t know how deep my backyard is I dug down but I have 60 year old trees. It has to be deep. The leaves got same sprays as the other plants and they are all pruned out, airy and dry quickly. You could see through the kush to the main stem. I suppose anything is possible though.

I’ll say time of year. full moon. My (so far) only male plant just revealed about the same time. And I may have a herm with another.

Also :cut_of_meat: boloney & horsefeathers on the MammothP, IMO. If microbes did that then it’d happen all the time, randomly. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: IMO.

:evergreen_tree: It’s not like you’ll be out of weed

Hi Guys,

Nothing crazy to report, thank dog! Plants are budding and back to being bushy as hell. The 2 blues are gonna have fat colas! The branches are epic! Orange Goji is still stinking up the yard. It’s so strong that if the other plants smell too, you wouldn’t know it. Overwhelms everything out there! You can just smell dank before you even open the gate. Bruce is still looking weird. Healthy, but the color is off. Thursday is the liquid fish drench per the soil test, I’ll hit both containers with it as well. They’ll love it. Should fix the problem with Bruce.

Hey @Meesh, do you or any neighbors have one of the streetlights with the light of seven suns?

The first year I grew at this place I had one in the back yard that hermed some plants. I had it turned off for good, but the next door neighbor installed one when I shut mine down, lol.

Any all night light source that the plant can see could have an effect. I always wanted to know the science behind night time light from street lights, and any effect on garden or pot plants.

I still have other neighbors not so close that have those lights. Suburbs tend to have them everywhere.

No streetlights shine into my backyard. I hate to say this online, but I unscrew the bulbs in my security lights during grow time. The only minimal light they may get are a few of my little solar walkway lights and I’ve never had a problem before (most aren’t coming on right now though, the summer plants have outgrown their panel reach). The only light that was a problem was last year, my neighbors backyard lights, but I asked them to adjust them so they don’t hit my yard in any way, which they did. The only thing I’ve seen is the very top of the cheese with the neighbors light when the dog goes out, but my plant reaches higher than the retaining wall now. The cheese is on the opposite side of where the OG Kush was. That plant received complete darkness. It was just genetic, I think.

Long day! I have outside clients all week except Thursday. I’ll get a new video then for y’all. Brain dead tonight and mentally exhausted. I look at tiny numbers and do math all day. Today was a really long one. I can’t see straight anymore and my eyes are too tired to read. Have a great night , friends.
