2020 Cannabis with Meesh

Hi Guys! I’m uploading a new video to Youtube as I write this. Been a busy work week and Dad (dog bless him) was working on installing a new circuit and specific outlet for an a/c unit for me. My mom when she retired and sold her house gave me a brand new floor unit and since my house is 70 years old, none of my existing circuit breakers could handle it. 70 years old in his bunny suit crawling around under my house running wire and a new circuit box. Dad is a fucken champion!!! He had almost finished it on Sunday, but forgot 3 lone wire nuts and had to come back today to crawl one last time under the house. My man was here today though and the 2 of them made a wood vent that fits perfectly in the window for the a/c and I’m up and running just in time for a heat advisory! Woot!! This is a kick ass a/c unit too! Score! It cranks!

I had some plant mail I need to send out, but it just didn’t happen. By the time everyone was gone, it was time for the liquid fish drench and I transplanted like 5 separate Epiphyllum aka cactus orchid cuttings into hanging planters that I got from @Olbrannon. Super stoked on these. Hope they root! They are perfect for my zone and I have a thing for trailing plants…

Bruce still has a weird orange tinge to the leaves, no idea what the issue is. Spectral Tangerine is in the exact same pot, soil, nutes and is perfect. I’m hoping the fish drench helps.

Anyway, stay tuned my video should be up shortly

The plants and yard / flowers are looking great! What a blessing to be able to grow them outside in your back yard. Must be a pretty zen place to hang out if its not too hot out.

What a cool bike planter, he nailed it there im guessing!

Not posting much but checking in here and there to get some relaxation in yours and others gardens. Thanks for sharing!

More comments as im still watching the video… Cheezus is right haha

And another amazing comment from the Orange Goji… sounds like a steenker you have there in the best kind of way excited

Thanks @twistedinfinity! I hang out back there all the time! Sure did lose my shit when I saw the bike planter! I was so excited! I’m still deciding where I’m going to place it. I’m thinking somewhere near the avo tree. It’s just now starting to get hot and muggy. So far it’s been a mild summer. There’s a hurricane or tropical storm coming up from Mexico right now, hence the bitchen clouds today that you could see in the video, but it’s been off and on overcast all day and the humidity sucks.

A six foot tall Orange Goji in the yard…

Damn.

I’d be run out of the neighborhood for producing that much stank.

Major envy, to say the least!

Its been a really mild summer here as well up in Washington. We just had a couple like 70 something degree days in the hottest part of the year! Its supposed to be back up to almost 100 in a couple days though… thinking time to hit the river on the kayaks before the water gets any lower.
A weird year weather wise - as well as otherwise.

Global Warming! It’s such a shame!

@Howard.Crane if that Orange Goji had been directly in the ground the whole time, she probably would be as big as the Cheese if not bigger. Her stank thrills me to the core, but also gives me some paranoia. lol I’m sure the neighbors will be thrilled too, when she harvests.

Gonna be in the mid nineties this weekend, though :worried:

I’ve dealt with 120F for a week straight while living in Arizona and thought I might legitimately die, but unlike that desert hellscape it’s gonna be pretty humid here too, so I’m gonna be suffering something fierce.

I’m gonna be in the house with my feet up in front of my new kick ass a/c! Dad RULES!!! :sunglasses:

Yah I haven’t ever lived in a humid environment but I have traveled to them and can’t imagine! Dry heat seems a lot easier for me to deal with as I create enough of my own humidity when hot out hah

Got a busted screen so cant really see whats up there… hows your cal mag? Any fungal signs?

That cheese is looking epic… great growing all round… wish i could see it more clear lol

CalMag should be fine. It’s yellowing but not in the veins, veins are still green. I had added the dry flower nutes about 2 or 3 weeks before she started budding. I’m kinda thinking I should have kept nitrogen dosing her. If the liquid fish drench doesn’t green her up, I’ll give her one last big nitrogen dose. Then leave her to flower nutes. Unless you guys think it’s something else. It started at the bottom and moved up. Seems like classic N deficiency to me.

I wouldn’t even worry about nitrogen at this point lowers will start yellowing as you transition into full flower I wouldn’t even consider this a problem worth chasing looking great @Meesh looking forward to seeing the vid!

Has anybody grown or smoked the straight Blueberry? I’m really curious about the smell and flavor. Also, really curious if the Blue Gelato is gonna have more taste and smell than the Blue Dream. So far, both of the Blue’s are low odor plants. I am madly in love with Blue Dream, but I do think it’s lacking in smell and flavor. Really curious if the sherbert/thin mint gsc mom is gonna add more flavor to the Blue Gelato 41. I’ve never smoked the Blueberry common parent, so I’m not sure if the flavor is lackluster there too. Let me know, peeps.

I’ve smoked a bunch of different plants of DJ Shorts blueberry and most of em were good, but one of them was amazing! None of em were super loud. I’ll cross my fingers you’ve got one of them blueberry muffin phenos.

That copper color or rust color is most likely calcium. Some plants just seem sensitive to it. Supposedly you can’t OD on Cal-Mag, give it a strong dose of that first. That’s a big plant so a gallon of water at least with the appropriate mix.

Nitrogen at this late in the grow will cause more problems. Bloom food will usually have a small amount of N. I never had a Cal issue till the last grow and one plant wasn’t responding to feeding. After a good drench of C/M it came back like magic. I hope it helps you.

Anyway, loved the video. Your plants look gorgeous and I love the engineering in the cages. It’s made to keep adding new screens. I love it. They should sell PVC pipe in army green color.

I’m feeling much better but getting depressed some days like you. But, my birdies, plants and the lake keep me sane. peace

I smoked the DJ Short Blueberry a few times that was grown from clone by a friend. What struck me was the muffin smell and taste. The baked dough fragrance in the bag is so damn similar to a box of muffins. I even detected that golden brown, caramelized sugar in it. The inhale for me was more of that muffin/baked dough smoothness and then the blueberry fruit comes out heavy when you exhale out of your nose and the muffin stay sweet on your tongue. The effects are perfect for me. Full body experience with a very positive vibe. Seems like it would be quite useful for back pain because it really relaxed my core muscles. Hope you have a good weekend! Sincerely, El Lobo Solo
