Sounds like great killin grounds to me!
Also, learned the hard wayā¦ Nasturtiums are great at attracting the nasty aphids, just plant them across the yard and not near your plants. lol For all of you guys out there who have aphid issues, it will help a lot.
Hereās the exact same stuff but I found way better pricing than amazon
Thanks! Bookmarked!!
I wonder if peppermint soaked cotton ball hung all over the plants would work? Re soak them every 5-7 days may be worth a try! A lot of bugs are attracted to smells IIRCC and hate anything in the mint family
Could be why the UFS is the only one without any damage. I have a potted mint plant right underneath it for shade. lol
The cedar we hung all over the plants recently has helped immensely. Just bummed we didnāt think of it earlier. Only put it out there like 2 weeks ago maybe. Next year, Iām spreading cedar chips like mulch all over the place. Iām going even more gang busters than this year and I went at them hard. Whew!

Wood chip mulch - Washington State University
Here is a pretty good article. Though it is for landscaping I think cannabis would also benefit from woodchips. Next year my whole growing area is going to have a nice layer
Link doesnt work but type that title into google and the pdf will come up.
Is this it? (Direct PDF link)
Sure is. Fine work.
So I have a client later this morning and Dad is coming to take down the rest of the skunk. My man is gonna help him bit he works until much later and can be here for clean up. Dad was gonna wash and set up and trim alone. I got up at 5am to help him at least setup and wash buds then Iām going back to bed for a few hours. Heāll be happy. Being a good daughter, right now. He doesnāt expect me to be up.
Im going to try a mesh enclosure too. I hate dealing with the BT and its not 100% effective either. Id say it seems to significantly slow them down but I have been spraying every 5 days and still having pretty significant issues.
Damn yo, you blink and this thread has 20 extra repliesā¦so On the harvesting in the dark, never saved it but some indoor guys (actual facility with many plants, so not a bunch of randoms doing bro science) did tests where they harvest after dark at 12hour intervals. They did 12,24,36,48 and then tested the results in a lab. Long story short, the longer the dark period before harvest the more THC would go up but terpenes would go down. They felt 12 to 24 gave the best combo of THC increase without major terp losses.

That netting should work wonders. The moths fly in and lay eggs. The eggs hatch and the caterpillar feed on the bud mass to get large. Keep the moths off of your plants and there wonāt be caterpillars.
As far as wood chips, and I havenāt looked at that link, if you live in a very humid or wet region, especially down south, be aware of termites. The wet wood is what they eat.
Somebody had a plant taken out by termites in the roots and base. Not sure if that was here or another forum.
I know, mostly because Iām a rambler and crazy poster! lol
Thanks for that info! So that seems fairly perfect that we harvest right before the sun comes up then. After about 12 hours of night.
Allright lady - a f#$^%^&*in caterpiller just fell from a drying plant onto my head while at the computer. WTF is the problem?!
Hey @Meesh. Are you some sort of columnist for a newspaper somwhere?
Iām just saying.
