Iā€™m super excited for this one! The smell is intoxicating all on itā€™s own. Still hanging more! It is deceptive as hell. All bud this plant

Got a boat load of bud off that UFS. More than any of them. The entire plant was bud. It got seeded though by the herm. It was obviously at the very early stages because they were along the stem. Itā€™s not tons, but sucks all the same. Actually think the seeds saved it from getting bud rot. Those early seeds gave the bud a bit more air flow. The cheese is mostly rotten. Moldy Cheese. Doubt Iā€™ll get much off the her actually. Tmw weā€™ll start on her, most has and will go in the trash. Still bummed to see my hard work go in the trash and by no fault of my own.

1/3 of the Cheese is hanging after wash, now. This is gonna be a 3 day take down. Sheā€™s huge. Did pre inspection before the wash, throwing and cutting out rot best as I could. This plant has a much easier structure to remove rot. It grows like the skunk and whole buds can be removed, unlike the indica blues we had to chop to pieces. Weā€™ll have more bud than I anticipated yesterday, but less than what I thought a week ago. Quick post while fan drying the washed bud. Waiting for a bit before we start the trim so itā€™s not too wet to dry after.

Once again Iā€™m out of drying space. The rest of the cheese is just gonna have to stay rotting on the plant for another week or so. Really no choice.

The UFS was 5 pounds of wet bud. Crazy right? Only a 5 foot plant. Itā€™s occupying a ridiculous amount of space.

I only have one layer opening up in the next 2 days, The orange goji will go in to cure. I already combined some drying layers of it together after they shrunk, but still short on space.

Itā€™s probably better to take a trim break for a few days anyway, before we all kill each other. Weā€™ve all been in different stages of grumpy. lol

@Sunvalley the ufs you got started is gonna yield massively, small but mighty suckers! That plant literally had like no leaves at the end and I didnā€™t even pull many off either. I think this is the biggest yield based on plant size Iā€™ve gotten this far. Bigger yield than the 7 ft + Skunk 1. Just blew my mind.

Wait, Iā€™m gonna alter that statement as half the skunk 1 went in the trash. They would have yielded about the same. Stll! Daaaaang! lol

@SamwellBB those ufs were f2ā€™s right? Looks like I picked a good one. lol

Dumb luck on my end

I have them listed as this - Uncle Festers Skunk # 18 (Master Thai)

It was nice to have one damn plant hold up to the elements and not have to throw any of it out this year. Sheesh! Well, the ones in the ground. Container plants were mostly fine, slight pillar damage.

So Dadā€™s apology for his selfish response to the bug net last week, came in the form of a 10ā€™ x 10ā€™ piece of agricultural insect barrier in the mail, in Dadā€™s words ā€œthat we can play withā€. Itā€™s awesome actually, the bug screen, very sturdy, nylon. According to the ag site it only cuts out 2% of the sunshine. I can live with smaller plants if I donā€™t have to fight caterpillars. Dad saw it and said ā€œOh, that stuff will be easy to work with, I can make an enclosure with it easilyā€ and the ag site who sells it will even custom the size for you if need be. He already has half a plan formulated and we wonā€™t need it until next year. The stuff will last 3 or 4 seasons easy too. That apology works for me! lol

I know. I canā€™t :couch_and_lamp: see the :tv: TV. Damn plants outnumber pretty much everything in the house.

@gramps solution of tacking up trellis netting is an excellent DIY solution. :+1:

In my case, I canā€™t put holes in the walls, so I strung 30lb fishing line from the curtain rod to a :shinto_shrine: - shaped thing made from wood(furring strips) and pinned it between the couch and wall. Itā€™s like an upside down Christmas :christmas_tree: tree farm!

And I didnā€™t label them so I kinda f*cked myself. :unamused:

Yes sir and madame you are correct the MT UFS #18 I made are f2s.

@Meesh Did you start the Orange Goji from seed or is it the @Jetdro Orange Goji Razor cut? 5 pounds wet off a 5 footer UFS 18 is some crazy weight great job!

I planted 3 of the UFS, got 2 females and pretty much randomly chose one to keep. Off the chain yield. Plant smells like pure love. The only plant in the entire garden that didnā€™t get caterpillar damage or bud rot. Razor thin leaves, spindly little plant in veg, holy shit if it wasnā€™t all bud when it flowered!

Pretty sure I germed the razor cut on the OG. Iā€™ve never had a cannabis plant that stunk to high hell in veg! Wow! My entire lot reeked for 5 straight months! Didnā€™t realize the leaves were variegated either until I saw @Howard.Crane last one. Just thought it had some really funky fade. Only like 1/4 of the plant did it though. It got planted in the ground a month later than my fem plants and caught up to some of them. It would have been a monster if I hadnā€™t had to sex them. The buds were super fat and dense. Lost half of my harvest this year to bud rot though, including half of the OG. Had an unusually high humidity spell for 8 weeks straight this summer.

Testing fresh dried Orange Goji in the bong as it needs 2 more drying days. lol Itā€™s fkn delicious, even before the cure. Heavy chem/gas/skunk taste on the top, sour orange cream on the finish already. I have a few buds curing from 2 weeks ago that I had saved when cutting bud rot. It smells like really strong Sour Orange in the jar. Looking forward to the rest of the plant curing. This is some obnoxious tasting and smelling weed. Completely up my alley. Nice uplifting high, the bud my buddy grew was a lot racier than mine. Probably harvest timing. Enjoyable all around. My initial assessment of this is dank, Dank and Fucken Dank :yum: This beautiful music between Super Citrus and chemicals! A straight assault on my taste buds. The perfect amount of sour funk then creamy. If you love that funk in your weed, itā€™s in here! Not for the subtle cookie loversā€¦ lol

Man, I must not get out much from the bubble of threads i read here, although at any given time I have 100 unread posts that Iā€™m in and out of. Either that or Iā€™m just lucky in most of the threads I follow, since itā€™s mostly you fine folks in here whose threads I read.

I just went in to a few non grow log threads this afternoon catching up and Iā€™m sitting here just in shock and quite honestly horror about some of the people who have joined overgrow and the way they talk to people and the rude and disrespectful discourse they have and their provocative posts. Kind of makes me sick to my stomach. First, that they would talk to others that way, secondly that these are actually some of the members we have here and last that the posts continue on and on without having been flagged or otherwise shut down. The simple act of reading what should be basic plant exchange, felt like something I needed protection from.

Next time I respond saying I donā€™t see trolls and the ugliness some of you see as prevalent, smack me on the forehead.

Having said that, thank you to all my friends who follow and hang out with me on here. You all are so rad as humans that Iā€™ve been blinded to what is obviously a whole bunch of complete assholes that drift around this site. Iā€™m glad all of your lights shine bright enough that it keeps so much ugliness from fucking up my time here. After reading those horrible, nasty peopleā€™s posts today, you guys are the only reason Iā€™m still here. That shit made me want to disappear.

I hear you. At least yours is one of the few threads I still follow, so thanks for providing an entertaining read for us :grinning:

Us positive, respectful people obviously band together, thank dog! I guess like attracts like, because all of the nasty folks seem to find each other in the same threads, they all seem to revel in hating each other and otherwise dysfunctional interactions. Sheesh!
