4 Site RDWC Fallponics - U.K. Cheese & Pink Cookies

Flower Week 1:

Exciting times! The transitioning week went well with another defoliation so the ladies kept drinking and eating so daily top-up and feedings were required to keep the PPM & water level the same.

I removed all the LST clips as the branches were thickening up and I don’t want any pinching. I’m making LST cages for each grow site as my 4" netting isn’t going to work for the lower spread with these genetics.

PPM: 800
EC: 1,6
PH: 5.9
Tent TEMP: 18-25c
Light height: 12inch (12/12)
Res. Temp: 18-22c

For some reason it reminds me of the 70"s…

Update: Flower Day 3

LST solution from a dollar store!

I found these locker shelves which are the perfect solution for my lower branch LST needs.

I’m using rubberized wire which is soft but grippy enough that it holds fast with minimal twists.

Update: Flower Week 2 (Day 8)

I’m continued to be impressed with these ladies, even the runty one. They’ve doubled in size over the week so the LST cages are really earning their keep.

Rather than a full defoliation, I’ve removed all the larger fan leaves to open up the canopy. I already did the runt before I started taking any pictures but you can see the foliar mass present on the 3 other ladies. As per my usual, I sprayed them all down with a mix of 10ml food grade mineral oil to 1L water.

PPM: 930

PH: 5.9

Update: Flower Week 3 (Day 15)

I’ve removed the LST cages as the ladies were starting to poke through sporadically which meant they are now tall enough for my larger scrog net.

I defoliated as much as I could before my back said I had to stop followed by the usual spray down*. Regardless the bulk of the green matter is gone and now the bud sites are very predominant. I will spray* them all down lightly throughout flower as a preventative. (*mix of 10ml food grade mineral oil to 1L water)

Looking good. Are you taking all the major fan leaves? Just curious on your defoliation strategy.

If it’s fully formed I clipped it. Will only be removing fan leaves that block bud sites from this point on.

Update: Flower Week 4 (Day 22)

The ladies are eating well as the PPMs steady drop with PH ever slightly rising over the week. The flower sites are fantastic, each branch is starting to swell up with all the nodes.

I’ve been lifting the lights slowly to keep the fixture-to-canopy distance at about 12"; as well as pulling any fan leaves that are actively blocking any light as the canopy continues to rise. I want to pull more foliage from the interior, but my back won’t let me this week after all the yard work outdoors taken place recently during the sunny days here.

To feel better about it, I did my usual spray mix of 10ml food grade mineral oil to 1L water and increased all the interior and exhaust fans to their max settings.

PPM: 1100
EC: 2.4
PH: 5.9

Update: Week 5 Flower (Day 29 from end of transition week)

I’ve been removing the larger fan leaves as these nugget towers keep growing and growing! Today was a full res change, and the last of my nutrient res changes so i’m very pleased! Next 2 weeks will be primarily topping water daily and keeping the ppm’s floating around 1200.

Squee.

Update: Week 6 Flower

I stripped a decent amount of interior foliage and sprayed everything down with the usual.

Things are filling in well, only time will see how far.

It’s also my 40th Birthday so I’m hoping for the best.

Week 7 (Flower day 44)

Last week with nutrients in the res with the ppm’s steadily dropping and 2x a day water topping.

I want to crop already as it’s feeling like i’m watching paint dry.

Week 8 (Day 51; flush week 1)

Huzzah! The finish line approaches fast! 81L of fresh water cycling through the system as the “fall colours” start coming through.

At least now the paint changes colour as i watch it dry

I got a Key Lime tree for my 40th birthday, so it’s keeping the harvest company until it’s warm enough to take it outside with my Meyer-Lemon, Grapefruit, & Makrut lime trees.

Thanks for looking, it’s always nice to share hard work with folks that understand the labour involved with all of this.

You are going to have some trimming to do!

I’ve halfway decided to turn half my crop into hash just so I’m don’t need to trim as much.

And I like hash :tornado:

I have a plan: Bong + Scientist’s Discography!

You’re going to need good storage solutions I bet. Have you looked into large batch curing?

I’m considering buying 2x sealing lids for either 3.5 or 5 gal pails. Will make the call whet i see what’s on the drying racks. :grinning:

I think I’ve seen ones where they inject CO2 and seal them up but I could be imagining.

I’m going to need some jar space and the best solution I’ve found is to vacuum seal the cured bud in a bag and stick it in the freezer. Boom - empty jar.

Now that you’re almost done this run how are you liking the TSLs? They seem to do the trick eh?
