4 Site RDWC Fallponics - U.K. Cheese & Pink Cookies

They’re great! (The TSL’s). I’m still waiting for RapidLED Canada to have the deep red pucks available again. Thinking that may be the final notch on this set-up at least  .

This is what I was thinking of getting:

Holly crap it went from below 10c to early summer 20’s overnight!

My grow room wasn’t prepared for this and our AC is down (to be addressed in a few days). The temperature in the tent floats up to 28c by the worst of the day and my res got to 24.7c yesterday!

I have opened up all doors on the tent, opened up the res lid and added a fan for swamp effect style cooling on top of submerging frozen 1gallon bottles of water to keep it under 22c

At least i’m in flush and looking at 1 week or so until cropping so this is doable. I’ve decided to relocate my system into our basement for more space, summer climate control & to install a dedicated 20amp breaker for everything.

In other plants news, i moved all my potted babies outside for the season so i can turn off any supplemental winter lighting to also cut down on the heat generated.

Here’s a shot of my patio where the small things live:

I’ll take a shot later of my “Walkable Grove” which includes my 25+ year old, 6ft Grapefruit tree.

Thanks for checking in and I hope y’all are having a great day!

I’m glad you’re able to cool your Rez a little bit. Do you have one jug in the Rez and another in the freezer sort of setup?

Onward to the finish line!

Yep. I’d have a 3rd if there was space!

Flower Week 9 (Day 60; flush week 2)

Cropping happens this weekend! Trichs are looking just about ready and i’m both looking forward and dreading the process. This will be a days worth of wet trimming, 4-bath washing and then the joy of seeing it all hanging up to dry.

I’m going to get 2x twist seal bucket lids for bulk curing in 5gal buckets making it less of an ordeal than burping a dozen or more glass jars.

My phone does no justice to the colours that have developed but you can get an idea:

Thanks for looking & enjoy your day!

How do you plan to do this? Peroxide, lemon juice etc?

The colours look great.

I hear you on dreading the trim job. Two of mine are going to be easy but the OGs are really leafy and are going to take a while.

It’s going to be a lazy trim job guaranteed!

Lazy is good as long as the sugar leaf is frosty nothing wrong with shaggy buds .

I usually do two passes. One quick one for garbage leaf and a finer one for sugar trim.

Anything that stays on the final buds has crystals.

It’s half precision and half shearing a sheep.

Peroxide → Lemon/Baking Soda → Water #1 → Water #2 (cold)

I have the trim all saved from the last 2 grows. After this I’m gonna break out the hash bags!

Sweet!

Bubble is a bit tricky and labour intensive but totally worth it.

Best advice I have apart from the straightforward is to keep a spoon in a glass of ice water for scooping hash off the mesh.

“Cropping is such sweet sorrow.”

All set up and ready to smoke a bowl, turn on the tunes and clip-clip-clip!

1x down and 3x more to go!

“Are we there yet?”

I thought I might take an hour today and defoliate all the big leaves to make the full trim job a little less taxing.

I decided not to do it. It’s too awkward.

Instead I ran a spiderweb of thread in the shower in prep for hanging.

Looking good!

And that’s all the UK CHEESE! I need a trimming machine this is taking forever.

Setting up the washing buckets then just a few hours more until I rest…
