A series of possible fortunate events

I think we have another sexing. Just had a quick glance before work . This time on a kashmir. 90% positive it’s a male. I’ll give it today’s lights out then check again to be sure and get opinions before culling.

This is my first run at regular seeds. I’ve never even seen a straight up male in person lmao

Right! My current run even though it was gifted from someone else the Kashmir still ultimately came from Corey.

We will get you taught, son. :joy:

I just so happened to spread some Corey seed love yesterday.

Let me rephrase that.
My first grow ever was a single bagseed. It turned out female though so the never seeing a male still stands lmao

Once I get through my main interest I’m gonna go back to fem seeds and spread the rest of my regs throughout the site. I like that you get different phenos with regs and can keep your best one for sure but in a frowned upon state I just feel like I’m running through soil and taking up extra space which then means extra time ect. If I wasnt in the states I’d be hoarding in some JOTI. I need to find a better site than attitude though. I just like that they do single seeds for strains as I like my variety

Only frowned upon by the ignorant and / or stupid, because you can be both.

Hopefully that will change soon and you can do whatever you want. I feel extremely blessed to not have to worry so much, and was shocked when medical passed here. It is really gaining traction and acceptance as well. It’s great to see. Hopefully you get this satisfaction as well, soon.

We made way with medicinal about 4 years ago. At the start it was just tinctures no flower. Then 2 years in they finally pass the flower but still no recreational and no growing even for card holders. It’s stupid. And with florida being such an old person retirement place, big pharma doesnt want to lose it.
Shit, Arizona can grow and we cant. I hate this place.

So you can go buy it, but if it’s like here, lots of it is crap. Plus you don’t know what some idiot sprayed on it during flower. I recently learned some morons that grow but don’t smoke think this is OK.

I know to much about the florida dispo scene , it’s why I didnt get my card. Fuck that. They harvest early and quick dry to get it on the shelves as fast as possible and then its taxed 30%
You really expect me to pay 50 bucks for an eighth because you label it " top shelf " ? Sorry I’m not stupid. I’ll grow my own.

If they keep fucking around they’re gonna lose more and more " patients" I already know a few people that have a card but buy from the street. Cheaper , better, safer product. It’s why I started growing in the first place but now that I got my dream job and dont hurt for money… ITS ALL MINE MUAHAHAHA

I work in the food industry so guidelines and health are a big part of my daily routine .
If you can push for medical because it’s better than pharm, but then do this and provide toxins and chemicals to plants you expect people to ingest it was never about the health it’s always the fucking money.

So many of our growers don’t smoke, and therefore don’t understand, why flush or do other non sensual things (in their mind). Yeah, lots of crap product that has not been cured.

Yeah, don’t get me started. I love the plant and what it does to help people. It’s just capital to many of these bozos.

Good genetics are totally different to them and I.

Right and a lot of these people are cross over careers from gardening or scientists ect and while there are those organic commercial farmers the chemical ones out weigh them by far.
I think right now we’re at a pivital point in the community. With commercial growers going organic and some even no till I’m sure in some time regulations will be more strict on the END of the grow for testing pesticides toxins ect. They at least have the tools to do so unlike in the food industry where it gets caught after via response

“It’s just capital to many of these bozos”
And that’s why I’m here. This forum out of all the forums I’ve ever been on has the closest community of people that actually love the plant. Having to say this speaks volumes about how this world is now, but it’s almost impossible to find a place this genuine in the world today.

The ones that don’t know and understand get pissed when the standards raise.

Trust me man, I’m getting ready to be looking for a job again over stupid crap. You can’t fix stupid.

Right? It’s sad that caring for others isn’t cool anymore. :frowning:

Culled the kashmir. No sign on any other sex yet.

I hit everyone in the tent with a top dress of mother earth grow meal mix. Heavy on the panama , half strength on the kashmir, quarter on the lucky charms and royal queen ( not sure why I’ve called it 6 different things but that’s 100% the official strain lmao )
Panama female up front, panama in back. Both these and the other one have skinnier long fan leaves.

Kashmir up front panama in back. This is the other skinny leave pheno.

Panama up front kashmir behind. This panama has the fat stubby leaf structure. Hoping for this one to be female to keep both traits.
2 lucky charms. I over watered the 3 of them a little then transplanted so kinda droopy.

Then another lucky charm and Royal Queen fem in the back

The Tc99 and lowdak seedlings all have their suckers and are working on their first serrated

Blue cindy still.putting out white pistils. I was going to flush but I dont think I should start yet. Maybe 1 more week then flush and chop in 10-14

Afghan I started the flush on and will take her down in 2 weeks .

I’m contemplating wether I want to switch my t5 bulbs to 3000k and use that as my 2nd flower light for now and veg with the meihzi and red light. It would help keep the temps down for sure. Anyone flower with t5s? How is it ?

I also got around to transplanting my pepper seedlings into 1 gallons. 15 total plants. 5 ghost pepper 3 reaper 3 scorpion 2 red habanero 2 honey . On top of the 2 tomato plants, 2 cayenne peppers, a regular habanero, a jalapeno , a grand bell, and a cajun grand bell. I think I’m pushing close to 40 plants total wooo!

Also I made a little drying box prototype. The rack really was to big and wherver I put it wasnt cold enough .
So I grabbed a box and cut a hole in it, and threw my ac infinity fan in to exhaust the air from inside the box and my hygrometer. Its sitting in the room with the portable a c unit. So far the temp has stayed at 65 and humidity 50 to 55%

I say prototype because I plan to grab a bigger box ( taller ) and another fan to put on the bottom for intake. Then I’ll either build a few levels of strings to hang or put some type of small screens ( a few ) leveled going up the box.

I think fishnets would be a good idea. Make them detachable and a few levels so I can open the box from the top and access the bottom level. That’s my project for this week.

I love your ingenuity.

I would have waited a minute on that plant. I wouldn’t have confirmed it as a male. As a matter of fact on my last run, I had a couple I thought were make at first, but turned out female. I’m glad I waited.

I’m 99% sure it was a male. My buddy said the same thing so away it went. Still have the 2 more so theres still hope either way.

It could have been, I just didn’t see it in the picture.

I used something similar to this, I start seedlings in it under a t5ho light. It has 2 fans 1 intake down at the bottom and the other exhausts out the top at the opposite side. It makes a kinda light swirling cross ventilation.
I poked a couple of small dowels thru it to hang branches on and dried my first indoor harvest in it.

Keep thinking about it and you could have a good dual purpose stealth seedling/drying box.
