A series of possible fortunate events

I have heard he is a nice, talkative guy.

@Beerus be careful who you are hanging around here, much less admitting to hanging around!
As far as trusting genetics, I think Ill grow coreys kashmir.

Lol I think I keep pretty good company. Plus in my state I’ll take whatever I can get my hands on.

The smell is starting to come through strong.
The blue cindy smells like sour skittles.
The wedding cake is like a creamy piney sweet smell and the Afghan just smells like straight gas almost.

I did a mini flush on everything as we’re nearing the final few weeks. I topped the flush off with cal mag and top booster. Next feed will be switched to late flower and I’ll follow that for 2 more weeks give or take.
I prefer a more cerebral high so I’ll take everything down when it’s mostly cloudy with slight Amber.

In less than 24 hours we have 2 lucky charms planted and the 3rd seed cracking

Got my mini dehumidifier in today. I’m not expecting much but if it can keep me around 60% I’ll be happy.

And I always told myself dont grow in the summer. It’s already hitting the 90s here. I have an extra stand up a.c unit but the window back there is to small. Gotta try something tho. I rigged up this little peice of cardboard and zip tied the exhaust part of the a.c to it and I’m hoping it will fit in the window at least decently. I’ll tape it down if I have to then nail cardboard over the rest of the window so no light comes in.

I’m reallllly hoping this works because it’s both an a.c unit and dehumidifier. I can run a.c during the day and the dehumidifier at night. I’ll have to change it manually for now but I’ll find a controller I can use for it.
This will also open up possibilities of filling out the area for growing more. The downside… I wont be able to fit the airline T10 in with this so it’s either one or the other has to give.

We are in business. At first having everything running shut down the power in the back all together.
So I went to home depot and got 2 extension cords. Ran one from the kitchen to the unit in our room and one from the room to the back bathroom.

Humidity and temp have been dropping steady. As long as it doesnt take up to much power I should be in the clear.

The downside to this is I’m gonna have to get an electrician to come out and check everything if I want to throw another light ect back there.
Also 3rd lucky charms is in soil!

After an hour of playing with the settings leaving it on dry seems to be the best option. Temp stays at steady 79 and humidity between 55 and 60. I know it’s not perfect but it’s much better. I can work with this.

It is always a trade off. From memory that’s not too bad on a vpd chart either!

I’m right around 1.24. The real test will be when the lights go out. Hoping for the best

Got my tent back and I found a light on market place. 96w T5 for 35 bucks. I’m doing a test run to see how the environment holds up with just the t5 and seedlings.
I have the light 10 inches away is that good? Never used t5s

Scratch that. I already moved everything . Put the t5 in the closet moved the flower plants to the tent. Everything is in the same room no issues with humidity in either spot. I think I’m good from here on out.

I started at about 6 when I got mine. My plants get really close to them now, and the only issue I have is when I let them grow into them. :joy:

FUCK.

The wedding cake Hermed. Ughhh. theres a good amount on there to some even forming balls. I took off what I could probably pollinated it more idk whatever it’s in the back shower now alone in the dark. I guess I’m gonna try and push her 1 more week or get as close to harvest as possible.

I’m cleaning myself off and everything around me before I go check the others. I guess now I gotta throw something in flower and start more. Huge setback

Question.
Would the seeds turn out mostly fem or would they be highly likely to hermie as well?

Well I’m doing all I can with the wedding cake. I plucked everything I saw, set up the light and fan on a timer in the shower. I just flushed her and topped off with molasses. I’ll do just molasses for the next week then nothing the final week and harvest early ( technically right around 8 anyways )

What a shitty light eh? Oh well. Its 150w true so better than nothing.

I transplanted all the seedlings but the lucky charms into 1 gallon pots. I also started germinating purple queen from royal queen seeds since I had to ditch a plant basically . This way my chances of having 1 female strain of each totaling in 4 plants should be possible then I’ll flower all 4 in 3 gallon air pots in the 4x2. the most I’ve ever put in there is 2 so its gonna be an experiment.

On the bright side of things, my humidity in the tent stays between 50s and 60 at all times with the temp staying between 65 lights out and 75 lights on.

If a herm polinates itself, they will be herm seeds. If it pollinates another plants, those will be fem seeds.

Realllly now…
I’d love to have more of these AK seeds. Lol

Am I just being extra paranoid and this is a calyx or is this a seed forming?
That wedding cake fucked me up now I’m all types of " oh shit is that what I think it is?"

I’m no expert, but I would say it definitely looks possible.

I did some reading on it. If its firm, it’s a swelling calyx. If it feels empty like a balloon it’s a pollen sack.

We good, definitely a calyx

OK, I was thinking you thought it was a seed, not a pollen sack.
