A Shadey spot to grow, Perpetual organic no till

No, but one is starting to look like it may go the same way.

I think I may have caused them to re veg, didn’t think that was possible with autos. They are making lots of clumpy fox tails with small single leaves, and did not put out any new pistils for about 10 days. So I dug out a timer last Wednesday or Thursday and put them back on a 14 hour day, they have just started to make new pistils again.

I am going to keep them running as long as I can, temps are dropping below 8c next week at night, but my workshop retains some heat from the day, it gets quite warm in there if it’s sunny.

I think I might put a tent or build a grow box in there for next year, the sqirrels and mice dont seem interested in them whichh was my main concern having a grow out there.

Thanks I need to take some more pics, I can’t sit on the chair it’s a 200 year old antique with a broken leg that’s waiting for me to fix it lol.

I think if I had done from the start there would not have been a problem, but switching from 12 back to 24 hours messed them up a bit. They are super frosty now and smell great, I can smell them outside the workshop 15 ft away lol.

5 edits must be a record for me lol, doest help with the dog keep sticking his nose on the tablet when I amnwriting lol.

You got some cool stuff I do agree. I’ve had stuff over the years and have lost… I have a lot of tools. You can’t find stuff like that anymore.

We’re hitting below 0C next week and I haven’t got the gutters cleaned out yet. So many chores and most will be waiting until spring now but we’ll have a few warm spells before winter settles in.

Got my work cut out for me this winter. I got offered a deal on some rod blanks and put in my order for 10 for $600US and 5 that I ordered have a MSRP of over $400. Each one will cost another $100+ to fit out with the needed parts but I figure I’ll take a few years to get them all done. Got lots of flies and jigs to tie up too. Might advertise in the local Marketplace groups and see if I can’t make a few bux to cover all my expenses. Want to see if I can get some bucktails now that it’s hunting season which I still hope to get in on with the .270 I bought recently. Probably not this year tho.

I also need to start some beans soon. Place seems empty without some plants in it for the first time in 20 years. With the wife’s health issues I won’t be going anywhere for a while but it’s not looking bad for her and the thyroid medication seems to be helping but can take months to really fix her up.

I doubt those autos are revegging Shadey. I’ve seen lots of plants put out single leaves near the end of flower but foxtails are kinda weird for outdoor plants tho my experience is limited with growing outside.

I ended up getting these magnifiers and they seem to work great tho I haven’t actually got around to using them yet for any wrapping. The LED light pops out so will make them lighter as I can use the light on my lamp for good coverage.

Well armed for the coming armageddon now. The shotgun has a pistol grip and standard stock for it too. Made in Turkey.

:peace: We hope.

My daughter and her boyfriend are moving to Fort Mac before the end of the month, I told her to buy some very warm clothes, I think they will both be in for a shock lol. He starts his huge dumpster training course in January and starts work in February.

That’s a lot of rods, good deal on the price I hope you make some serious profit on them with your fancy whipping.

Your all set for the zombie apocalypse lol that shotgun would be illegal in Europe, your not even allowed a folding stock. My shooting buddy in the UK bought one and had to get it welded in a fixed position after we went on a weekend practical shotgun course, the guy running it threatened to report him to the po po if he didn’t get it done before we left.

I am glad your misses is feeling a bit better, it took my wife’s sister about a year to get her thyroid medicine dialed in properly, she went through 3 different drugs in the end.

I went through my photos yesterday when I re vegged some others a few years back, I saw that all my plants have produced those small single leaves, it doesn’t look like re vegging now I checked. They just have a strange look with the fox tailing, which I have only had once before and I think that was caused by changing the light intensity half way through flowering.

The magnifier looks good, I like the monocular to really ramp up their magnification. The light on mine didn’t last long before I took it off, it wasn’t very bright and it stuck up on a swivel and got snapped off lol.

I have been pretty busy getting on with the bathroom, roughed in the shower plumbing yesterday, putting mortar down to bed the shower tray in today and finish the taping and jointing on the drywall. Tomorrow I will be putting up the backer board for the shower and start tiling on Monday.

I managed to crush my left hand nearly two weeks ago I opened up my extendable step ladder to put the siding back on after putting in the two windows, I thought I heard the lock click into place, but when I moved it into position the top half swung down and smaked my hand across the knuckles. I nearly threw up from the pain. I think my little finger is broke its still really painful while the rest of my hand is not too bad now but I can’t close it properly.

Cheers man, You tube is a great resource for doing stuff and getting new ideas, I just have to watch a few vids to give something a go. It helps having the right tools for these jobs, I used to struggle until we sold the last house, now I have more funds I can splash out a bit on new ones.

Speaking of Europe
Do they sell large canisters of laughing gas over the counter for personal rec use?

I think you can buy nitrous oxide for cars, my buddy used to drag race and had an injection system on his dragster, not sure if it’s suitable for human consumption though, why🤔

I was watching a show on youtube Magnet fishing
They were pulling the gas cannisters out of the canals many of them
They said it was laughing gas and even had a nozzle on one end to inhale from.

I didn’t know that was a thing to do, I never knew anyone who did it for laughs, just enhancing car performance. I wonder how much a tank costs.

That I have not found out yet LOL

Yes it is. I have heard of it over the years. A few months ago I seen where they are trying to make it illegal.

@shadey Did you ever grow any of Labrats creations
Island sweet skunk x DJ Shorts Blueberry by @LabRat

Yes I did, they were monsters, I had to keep topping them to keep them under 4ft in veg, they got to nearly 6ft in flower and were great yielders. My daughters boyfriend still asks if I ever going to grow more, he loved it they were very fruity in taste and smell, good stone as well.
