Anyone ever grown a strain that makes them itchy. I have some African queen in veg and when I touch it make me feel itchy. I can’t wait to flower it out and smoke but never had a strain do this

Maybe some sort of allergy or a self defence as the nettles?

Yes I can get a rash all up my forearms if I trim bare sleeved.

Im very allergic to bud too, I can smoke it fine ( although some will give me mad sinus reaction like stuffy nose etc. )
But I get it on my skin im breaking out in a rash like @Foreigner

Cap junky from my last grow made my arm itch and get red spots on the skin. I think it just a allergic reaction luckily i don’t have issue smoking it

Yes it’s an allergic reaction to the resin.
Your allergies can get worse with repeated exposure and exposure to pollen
Mean gene is pretty allergic now

I take 2 allergy pills a day if I can
Respirators, masks, sleeves, gloves, allergy pills are what people use to deal with it. In my experience it’s mainly when the resin is wet and not cured that it’s aggravating to the allergies. Certain terpenes and compounds also.

Normal reaction to working in the vegetation. In a licensed facility deleafing plants, arm sleeves are a must or you will get nice and itchy. Same as rolling around in the grass.

Can’t say I have… but definitely had some that made me sneeze after 1 puff !
Cystolithic trichomes are the sharp pointed hairs on a Cannabis leaf. Chances are more than good those sharp pointy things are causing the irritation.
