ABushOfKush's Cannabis Adventure - Michigan

Thanks! Feels good to have a solid run almost finished. Especially doing it for someone who can’t handle growing their own anymore.

The most tasty I’ve had. Coats your mouth and the fresh resin on the plant you can rub and lick your finger and it’s very flavorful. Were any of the packs I sent you a Cotton Candy Crunch cross?

I think it’s just the red leds in the fixture making the resin shine a bit red. It does have a white and orange look from all of the resin and the hairs. We’ll see if there is any color in the next couple weeks!

Actually now that you mention it… I think that’s what I recieved beside your hill billy skunk!

Shit I didn’t even really take notice… But now you’ve got my full attention. 🫡

Going to have to put those on a new priority list haha!

Thanks again man!

Thank you. Runtz is quite the looker. Smokes well too but I think the Cotton Candy Crunch kills it for flavor. Maybe potency too. I haven’t tried the Pressure Pie yet. After the drying and trimming process here, the flower has been handled so much more than a home grow. It’s hard for me to be impressed with any commercial flower.

Now that the roots have hit the water these girls are really jumping. Bent them over to let the lowers see some light. Need to take cuts off of a few and then I think I’m clear to flip any time.

If they use a mechanical trimmer, it really beats up the trichomes as well.

Yup it all goes through a Greenbroz dry timmer which is actually surprisingly gentle. Then hand finished. It’s shoving the flowers into bags with 5lbs of weed all being rolled around and rubbing against each other that does a lot of damage. Especially because it’s usually drier than how I’d store my homegrown. Dispensary flower needs to be super dry to not mold…and to test as high as possible. A recipe for “good enough”.

Branches from the dry line are put into bags. Burped and rotated. Out of the bag for debudding. Back into the bag. Burped and rotated. Out of the bag and into the trimmer. Back into the bag. Burped and rotated. Out into trim trays for hand finishing. Finally into one pound bags…and probably more burping and rotating. Sooooo much in and out. I’d say my homegrown goes in and out of jars twice. Goes in dry, out to trim, back in…that’s it. Not much choice though when you harvest 100+ pounds in a room. Corners will be cut.

I’d say the roots are happy in the diy octos

Ordered a lens made in this century and got it in today. Took some shots at the mentors before I harvest. Boy is it nice having autofocus and image stabilization. Easy mode.

Wew lots of rain recently. Garden is a jungle and I can’t keep up. Tomatoes everywhere.

Got a nice black and yellow garden spider this year. Been around for about a month.

The tiny clones I planted around end of May are…a hedge. They got flat topped about a month ago and you can’t tell. Planning to grab some trellis netting and throw it over them.

Peppers!

Birdhouse gourds

Sunflowers, Amaranth and Zinnias

Morning glories

Musk melon

Some poor souls that have septoria

Thanks! I’ve been going hard on peppermint and spearmint tea this summer from the garden. Tomatoes and peppers just started ripening a week ago so now comes the good dinners!

Rough day at work today. 4 giant AC units control our 2 rooms and at lights on this morning they ALL burned out their motors. On fire! Apparently a bird landed on the transformer and shorted out one of the lines. 3 phase ACs trying to run on 2 phase. Didn’t work out. 10K in motors and service repairs. Glad I just work there.

I think there are some controllers/drive units that’ll bog down the motor if there are power issues, might be worth looking into.

Thanks for sharing the commercial grow that’s impressive to see inside! Lot of work - no automated watering?

What’s the trim room look like? I’m cringing thinking of it lol

Thanks! Remember this grow is one of the smallest plant count licenses in Michigan. 600 plants. The aim is to be more of the “craft” part of the market. That’s the idea behind hand watering and tracking each plant as an individual. Consistently high quality, high yield grows. Basically a big 160 plant indoor homegrow in each of our two flower rooms.

The trim room is just a room. AC controlled with a dehu. Nothing is stored in there except the tables and chairs. We have a storage room for all of the flower. We will bring down a couple totes at a time to trim and once it’s done it goes right back up.
