Same thought have crossed my mind🙋🏼♂️
You guys work hard man, that room came together fast!
Lollipop man is here. Feels good to get everything set for flower single handed. “Don’t touch my plants!”
When you have this many lights in an array the side lighting adds up and you have to hang the lights higher. Also we like to dim them and have them higher up for veg to get the plants to stretch. Mid flower the tallest plants will be about 3ft from the lights.
Only a handful of plants remain. The Flo x Romulan in the greenhouse is finished up real nice. Very light PM but otherwise beautiful. Very sticky, very smelly, some nice purple fade.
Here’s a Cotton Candy Crunch x Hillbilly Skunk. The one I say looks like Chocolatina. She fades a really nice burgundy/red color. Going to let her ride a little while longer.
And here’s a little Chocolatina with a week to go. Very similar flower structure and same with the smell.
Excellent work you have done there. Seems this year was a good year for outdoors in Michigan. I still have plants outside fully seeded that will be coming down soon. Still a few green ones but overall ready to come down at anytime. Have yet to see any frost here at my place. Trim jail awaits.
Oh yeah buddy I feel you on trim jail. My garage has way more than I need getting a good slow dry. Really good weather for it and also for being outside. So nice lately! What do you have seeded?
Romulan from a seed run done here crossed with all my keeper cuts which are Motorbreath, Flo, Flo x White widow, Flo x Romulan, XJ13, Shishkaberry, Widow bush, Chem4, Strawberry cough. I also found a couple of nice males from white widow x critical mass cross I made years ago crossed with another batch of the same list of cuts from above. From the Blueberry silver haze fem pollen you sent me I got one seed off Strawberry cough and I hit it with a Strawberry cough x Shishkaberry male. I also hit the Strawberry cough and Chem 4 with it as well. XJ13 x silver haze/white widow. Flo/white widow x Waikiki Queen/Flo x white widow. Motorbreath x Tangerine dream/shishkaberry. I think that’s about it. I saved a bunch of pollen from my outdoors and just hit your blueberry silver haze and my Flo with some white widow x critical mass pollen these plants were pollinated indoors and are 2/3’s done.
All my out door plants except one batch of keeper cuts were in pots and hand pollinated in my garage to prevent contamination. There is sure to be some random pollen hitting things they weren’t intended for but I would say very minimal. As soon as the pollen looked close to dropping they went in the garage to isolate. It took almost 3 weeks to get this project done. I also hit a patch of monkey paw x white widow with some white widow critical mass as well. I think that’s about it. Whew!
All sound very interesting but these the most for me. The Flo x Romulan backcross…yes. same with more Flo x Romulan to dig through. I’d assume lots of keepers to be found.
Sounds like you have been very busy! Lots of new beans to add to the never-ending stash. Maybe next year a large hunt of small plants in the greenhouse.
I just rooted a clone taken day of harvest on one of my Snake Venom S1 outdoor. Now to get it to reveg! Looks like an interesting one to see indoor.
Hope you’re doing well!
I got some seeds cooking in coco. Went for a big variety of one seed each. I’ll veg them until I see sex and toss the males. Some are fems so those should be here to stay. I want to do this more regularly. Once I find something interesting I’ll narrow the focus and pop a lot of one type. The plants from the tent I just harvested have some great smells. Particularly the Snake Venom x Cotton Candy Crunch. Sharp pissy lemon cream smell with thick smoke and very dense flowers. I have a mother of her in the tray of moms. Will be ran again unless the flower cures into something less desirable.
Never done one that late before but close. My best friend saved the old Flo cut that way. It took months. I am quite certain you will be successful. Keep your environment in the zone and don’t overwater/fertilize. She will be sitting in that solo cup/pot a long time so plenty of time for the ph to drift out of range slowing down the process.
Cool project you just started. Love the idea. If you want to make it even more interesting when you transplant bury the tag. Then let your knowledge of the plant and your craft guide you to guessing what it is. This is something I thought of doing recently and will do at some point. Someone on here should document a project like that. Hint
Looks like we have a few warmer days this coming week and after that all the plants will be coming down. So should be some in your mailbox before thanksgiving.
Awesome garden, just caught up on this thread! Good stuff broda, beautiful flowers
@bigLblazed Thanks!
