Addicted to HAZE - Haze only thread (Part 1)

That’s exactly what I wanted to say, I find church incense phenos nauseating, the whole world goes crazy for them

Bro that is Tom’s opinion. I prefer quality of the high vs raw potency. I have some weed that’s just too potent and it’s not fun at all to smoke

We clearly differ on what Haze is or should be Chara Haze should be very strong and long lasting.

Total misunderstanding again. Almost all Haze plants will get you really high for a long time. I don’t know where people get that haze isn’t potent. I really wish people would stop looking for excuses to not grow Original Haze. It’s a lot of work but totally worth it in the end. I started out as a 18 year old kid backpacking fertilizer and water to the Haze patch. Patiently waiting until after Christmas to harvest. There’s too many spoiled indoor growers who just don’t want to work very hard.

Part of the problem with having a breeder choose the “right” pheno to use, is that we’re all different and that pheno might not be the right one for you. That’s the reason I grow landraces. Some modern hybrids are pretty good, most are pretty potent. But none of them so far, is right for me.

I’m growing landraces to find MY pheno.

Haze = all tropicals below 30 N,S?

Haze Hybrid = tropicals x Northern Afghani/Paki 50/50 hybrid like NL5 maybe?

Above 30’s equal Afi/Paki Just a non-tropical type?

Lao x DC = NL5 hitting over 3 meters at the moment have till first part of November to finish. 12-14 weeks

Like you said Haze is already a hybrid, but back then from the 90 Skunk#1 females, the best Sk#1 female was crossed with the best Haze male. From the offspring this was the best selected Haze hybrid with yield from the Skunk side and smoke effect from the Haze.Flowering period around 92 days.

I prefer the green OTH over the slightly muddier more introspective high of the purple, but the Thai helps in that regard. Def do an OP with that pack. I have half a pack each (green and purple) from the original release. Then I have F3’s of the purple x Thai that dubi gifted me from three separate mothers.

How many Posi repros from Tom have you grown? Got any pics? I definitely don’t agree that those hybrids are more haze then Tom’s gear.

Sure, I agree with you. Weed is as subjective as beer or music or anything else. However, when the BREEDERS THEMSELVES are on this thread saying that there’s only five-percent of plants that you should be looking for and that the other 95-percent really aren’t worth growing at all, then something’s not right.

Anyway, I quit following this thread weeks ago, just because it got too stupid. I don’t appreciate being pulled back into it haha!

Where in this quote do you get 95% hay? 5% absolutely stellar, 10-20% (hay). That leaves at least 75% that are somewhere in-between if my maths are correct. The plants I’ve grown so far fall in-between. I do have some hopes for the Thai looking pheno currently in flower. I’ve no doubt there will be some 5% in the new seeds I have.

Where do you usually source your OTH seeds from?

I got some from Ace and Exotic Alchemy and always looking for reliable sources for more.

Stabilization is not voodoo buddy, but the inherent loop it imply often cause the loss of the constancy on the human side. Also the lack of skills by lack of interest. The time to spend too, even if I say it with sarcasm. How many breeder stuck with a line since decades, that “can’t dedicate time on it”. Tons.

And in R&D, the most supported financially in the game is the yearly flavors of the kids today, 90’s are dead for good … it don’t help either.

On average you will throw 70% females ok, Now I have a 5% chance of finding a really good female. The seeds are regular so lets math it out.

100 seeds and 70 on average are females. I have theoretically 70 females with 5% being outstanding,

0.05*70 = 3.5 outstanding individuals. 3-4 keeper females out of a 100 seeds. 30 * 0.05 =1.5 or 1-2 keeper males. Does this seem like this is what he is getting at and need to keep it real. I think these numbers speak for themselves and are incredibly honest.

Haze is a mixed landrace strain. And those ratios are normal for a landrace variety. I don’t expect to find very many exceptional phenos in pure landrace unworked lines. It takes years of work to do the selections needed for stability. I think there is a lot of Indian genetics in OTH.
The first picture is a Kerala landrace last two are OTH.

Damn here we go again. Yall just can’t help yourselves.

Show some pics and some reports or shut up (stop typing).

Always a bunch of clowns juggling back and forth how they know for sure what Haze is and should be because somebody online said so. So of course it’s true (sarcasm).
What somebody told you is no more true than what someone told another person.

Most of yall arguing haven’t put up a single Haze pic or report or both.

That’s all we want.
I see the ones growing and showing are the least involved in all this nonsense. Probably to busy actually growing haze.

Much appreciation to all those contributing to the thread with pictures and reports and experiences. The rest of yall need to beat it.

Freedom of speech much?

I’m not telling people what they can say. I’m telling them that what they are saying is ruining thread.
So my suggestion is for them to leave. That would be the best thing they could do for the thread.

All of my OTH and crosses have either been purchased or gifted from Ace.
