Addicted to HAZE - Haze only thread (Part 1)

or instead of leaving invite them to post instead lol.

Last grow I had two Bodhi Temple V1 (Super Silver Haze x Williams Wonder) I had one haze leaner and another more of a mix. Had to cut one early but the other was pretty much done.

Taste wise it was lemon, with some green mango, the taste was very similar to some of my silver sunshines but more complex (had some sour, green mangoes, rounded flavor).

High wise i really liked it, it did have a lot of relaxation (more than i though it would at least) but i did feel it soar if thats a thing.

I absolutely agree with your math. That’s not to say that one won’t find quite a few other worthy specimens and depending on personal tastes, might be deemed superior to those 3-4 that Tom deems ‘clean-up on aisle five’ phenos if sifting through 100 seeds.

I’m of the mind of sifting 20-30 plants at a time. Op-ing along the way. Cloning anything showing superior traits. That way the 100 or so I have becomes 1000’s down the road and I can hunt to my hearts content until I hang up my shovel. I’m really interested in those 1-2 male keepers as that’s where some fire outcrossing potential lies imho.

Fellowship I should report a shite. Sam, Neville, all shite that caught up haze lineage are truly good shite.
But fellows… every fucking first description of Neville’s Haze and even if Neville’s got the originals in his hand.
I must tell. Heck of a line. Everything that comes through this line is truly “too deep” and “too profound”.

But as a true brother said to me it also comes by on how do you really feel yourself.

Never heard of this variety. Can you tell us more.
@Fuel

Also that’s 10 meters as in 33 feet tall plant. Sounds like a silly question. That’s tall as shit tho.

The two digits IBL version. High score of this line in height is way over 30’.
I will not name it, i use these photos to debunk posers.

update : and please everybody, come back to show your interest on this too much underrated smoke. We live a sad period of white labels narrowed around what the marketing choose. Everybody is legit in this discussion : dutched haze lovers, “pure haze” lovers, “sativa hybrids that are not hazes” (lol) lovers, sativa lovers, total newbies, chunkers, not chunkers … let’s keep this discussion way over fake snobism and fake elitism. Everybody need a true sativa in his menu ^^

I still have some of Ace’s OTH, Purple OTH × Malawi and Kalimist × Something. I’ll give a report on these when I run them again.

Yeah it’s my favorite picture of Kerala. I think it’s one of the most accurate examples of what it should look like. You can’t go wrong with a good South Indian strain as far as I’m concerned

Golli Haze
Some of the true old Haze around
The real real NO hybrids

Idk but if it was one of my strains and 95% were hay, I’d be calling that a fail or at least be thinking I had a lot more work to do.

Unfortunately they don’t even start to bloom
It seems that i’ll be waiting for them until the first months of the next year, they just keep grow
I got Alpine Haze from Stoneguru and they started since two weeks ago. Golli Haze it seems to be really extreme nld type plant.

Yes it is if you ask most people all i read and have for decades is you must open pollination you must open pollination and yet the same people use selfing the most extream form of inbreeding.

I cant remember what Johnny posted on the flower times now but i like the look of Goli inbreed version of Ohaze.

You surprised me in a good way on this one, respect.

Open pollination imho is the go for preservation but narrow selection is what makes them consistent. That’s why landrace types in general more all over the place and take a shit load of work to nail down so that traits of interest are consistently expressed.
I normally only open pollinate when I want to expand my stash of a particular variety before selection and don’t want to lose the genetic diversity and just so I have a backup in case I screw something up further down the line. In some breeding systems the first few generations are not selected, the bulk breeding method is an example. What we are talking about mostly here by constant reference to lineage is the pedigree method. Problem is that weed, having males and females on separate plants makes it an obligate outcrosser, so open pollination if constantly practiced will more likely than not result in less potency over time.
