Me too it’s one of my favorite smells. Very much like fresh ground pepper with herbs thrown in. Kind of a rarer smell these days. I had a black domina once that was black pepper. Alot of grows I’ve seen online recently have all mentioned Mango scents.

Beautiful looking plant! Curious on your preferred flower time for that one. It’s got a nostalgic look to an earlier maturing Neville’s Haze a buddy had a while back. He would take it so early and it would blow my mind how good it was! Many blessings and much love

I only ran it once sadly tried to clone and reveg. It was fast maybe 80 days I think. No more than 12 weeks. Thanks it was certainly a special individual. One of those 1 in 500 type plants.

exactly, I think in two reasons for that first mango (the fruit) was kind of rare in the northern hemisphere some time ago (for instance on popular sativa from Brazil in 80s and 90s was Manga Rosa, which literally means pink mango) second cuz all of us are working with in essence would be the very same base line

working with Evening Eve here (nevilles haze x o. haze with a touch of afghani) most of the outcome is a sickly sweet or even sour mango fucking smell.
One time i was with y mother in a grocery she asked me what about some mangos… I said, no thanks, I Hate that smell… for real

I love the smell of Mango and other sweet tropical fruit smells especially towards the end of flower when it turns to rotting mangos on the tropical forest floor.

I have a hard time with high Terpinene industrial solvent profiles. If it’s mixed in well and not at the forefront then it can be unique and enjoyable.

Earthy, peppery, cedar and sandalwood are some of the sensory delights I found in Malawi and the KA5H I grew and I need more of those profiles in my experience.
I hope I can find this in the African Dream I’m starting.

I definitely think there’s Thai in it personally. I just got done growing some Thai and the buzz was lighter but had the same heady head space and cerebral buzz haze starts with.

Anyone here ever grow out Hyp3rids Cuban blood haze? There’s an interesting pheno they have, “el squato” - wonder what that’s like it if the effects are really “haze-like”

Looks interesting, what’s the lineage on that looks like an indica. I’m assuming it’s got cbh so it should be hazey I would think.

I bought these seeds two years ago. I will be popping them along with yours (MH IBL and MH x Z99). These are from the Canabella Seed Company. Sour Mango Haze is MH x Pot of Gold. It is great to finally see a pic of it and it looks like it is from the source by looking at the username.

Very nice. I really wish they still had that Chocolate Rain f2 aka Strawberry Cream.
