Along came a light!

About that time again. We’re coming up to week 7 in a couple days. Things are going. I’m thinking of letting them go 9, not too sure though. I’m gonna look at them with a scope soon and try to c how the beans are maturing. Anyways. On to the pics.

I’ll get some better pics later this week when I pull them out to scope them. And some of my platinum banner babies. There moving a little slower than I had hoped. I hope to be able to sex them in a week or 2 so I know wat I have. Anyways. Until later. Be safe yall

I know!! It’s amazing. I really hope it has that smell and taste after a cure

Well it’s that time again. Work has left me drained of late so I haven’t been able to care for my babies like I should have. They’re still not looking too bad though. Tomorrow makes 8 weeks for some and they will come down this next week. My one exception is one of my s.a.ds it’s only 7 weeks tomorrow but already has amber trichs. Ill be taking that one as well. It has a nice rotten fruit type of smell. Anyways. On to the pics

My ice cream cake from pink box. About 5-6 weeks flower. I can’t remember

Not labeled but I believe is mac 1 from pink box as well

My sad thats ready to come down. Didn’t get a full plant shot

And some random pics

Oh and how can I forget my abnormality pineapple express that appears to be sporting a high top fade.

That’s all for now. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have an update of my seedlings to share. But for now, be safe

Pillow book and lazy lightning have been chopped!!! Apparently I need to be more careful when pollinating buds as it seems the pollen done got everywhere. Oh well. Just more to grow out later. Anybody have any input on how I can harvest the beans after my plants dry? Well to the pics.
Pillow book up first. The smell changed from a black pepper and kush to a heavy skunk leaning smell.

And my lazy lightning. It has a straight sour smell to it. Reminds me exactly of the sour diesel ibl I ran from rezdog.

I’ll have another update with more pics Tuesday. Going to put my platinum banner into 12/12 to sex them.

Quick pic of my platinum banners from @HeadyMcDank in their spot to sex. Once I see preflowers I’ll put em back to veg. I also received a mendo breath clone that I ordered from pnw strainhunter off strainly. For 5 days in transit she looks pretty damn good. Put her in a solo and fed some rhizotonic.

Bean shucking is dreaded by some. There are simple contraptions that some have made to help. From what I’ve read, patience is the key.

Sorry, I’m out of likes.

I’ll have to do a search. I was going to go through each bud by hand to remove as many as possible. I’ve already told the Mrs too that she’s gonna be doing some picking this run. Hopefully it turns out well. I’ll let you know in about a week

In my house that would be the Mrs not going for the cast iron pan when I tried to get her involved. :joy:

Trimming help lasted about an hour.

I hear u on that. She seems to be open to helping pluck beans. I couldn’t even get her to pick up a pair of scissors to help trim, but if she’s in a good mood she’ll help uppot. And sometimes even water as long as I mix the nutes for her.

My wife is extremely tolerant, which is as much as I can ask for. She will mist clones if I need her to when I am gone.

Also, I am not skinny. She is an excellent cook/ baker, and she takes care of me.

She took care of seedlings last summer when I was out of town.

I use to be skinny. Apparently good women kno the way to a man’s heart. I’d have to say the same. I pretty much took over the bedroom and sometimes part of the kitchen table. Right now I have my humidity dome on the kitchen table.

Yeah, bedroom.

The bay window is where I’ve been keeping males. Lol

Hey friend,

For seed shuckin, i find it is more about removing chaf than picking seeds! Haha…

So, i first put a tarp down. Then use a 5 gallon bucket with a turkey bag.

I have a strainer i lay across the top of the bucket. Pluck fan leaves first, then shuck the flower material into the strainer.

Once, all the flower is off the stem i break up the material. To break it up, i use a combination of ways. Sometimes with fingers, sometimes slowly rolling on the palms of my hands like charas harvest. It depends on the material consistency.

During the process of breaking up the material, gravity does its work and the seeds fall to the bottom of the strainer. The lighter flower material rests on top.

Shake it a little to get all the seeds at the bottom. Then you can use a card to scoop out alot of the chaf flower material on top onto a plate.

The discard chaf flower material will have a few seeds. So, i go thru the flower discard on a plate on a slight incline. Elevated from a book, only needs a slight incline. An inch- ish.

While further breaking up the material I place the broken up material pile at the top of the plate and the seeds roll downhill, making collection at the bottom easier. I use a card to scoop into bag for collection. Beware only a “slight” incline - those buggers move!

The stuff at the bottom of the strainer has less flower material and more seed you can use the inclined plate to remove the rest of the chaf or do by hand it is pretty easy at that point - even if you pick em out 1 at a time.

Timesaver! Mindsaver! Haha…

The discarded flower material i use edibles. It is a little green and full of seed casings for joints.

Hope that made sense! Good luck! May the growth be with you!
