i was concidering taking 1/4" root riot slices and 3d printing a square version!
[/quote] you should do it except make the chop sticks like support built in. also maybe lil feet on the opposite side.

grade a schematics right thur

Did you 3D print those or did you buy them somewhere? Very cool idea. Looks promising. It looks like it could possibly hold multiple cuts too if you made a couple more holes.

How many stamps are you using per envelope?

I saw the ones you linked but wasn’t sure which ones you were using? The 3oz or the non machinable? Or both? Thanks!

Yay!!! They look decent. It’s been so warm out. I bet they’ll recover!

Humidity dome like suggested. I’ve brought back some sad cuts, and I know @Pigeonman has those cannabis necromancer skills. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Hope you can get roots too @JAYY_2the_R-O_WHAh ! Those do look a bit worse for ware. But like you said it was folded. 🤷 I can send more. :green_heart: I’m excited to see their progress.

They are disposable petri dishes.I bought two cases of 500 a couple of years ago for $120. Still have about 300. Specifically 35mm x 10mm. They will probably be a biit more expensive to only order a sleeve of 20 or something.
I used both stamps.

The chopstick snap is what killed the GMo cuts! I’m happy your envelope didn’t go sploded!

Ill doodle a bit too and try to make a multi cut version…

Is non-machinable stamps the easy answer? …perhaps.

Do tyvek cheque security envelops exist? I can only the find larger ones

Hey @Bobgrows and @JAYY_2the_R-O_WHAh .

Cuts still hanging in there? :crossed_fingers:

I have altered my method for taping edges and use a nice piece of packing tape over each end. I think that made a huge difference in keeping envelopes intact. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

They are still hanging on.

@Rhino_buddy did yours arrive?

I have a few questions

Are yous watering mom just 1-2h pior to takin cuts or waiting a day or two ?

Do yous prep mum the week poir to takin cuts with bloom feed ( toppin up p and k in cuts ) ? Maybe rhizotonic as well ( stress )

What’s your views on canna cure to help protect the cuts ( use on mum pior to takin cuts )

How does it work?

When you spray CANNACURE, it forms a second natural ‘skin’ on your plants ( cuts ? )This layer improves leaf colour and vigour and while ensuring that the plants ( cuts ? ) can still breathe. It makes them healthy, shiny and clean,

Or use of silica in mum feed ?

Sorry haha wake and bake lol

Hey friend @ifish. I’m excited for your input as I’m nowhere near as versed in cannabis as all the prairie plants around me.

I’m not as precise as I’d like to be but I do try to water them the day prior to cutting. If they feel to dry when I go to take a cut I usually set it aside til later.

I have only been giving them veg food. Should I be giving them a dose of bloom the week prior? And I’m interested in the stress reduction. I’m attempting to keep this as cheap as possible, but if that makes a difference I. The success of the cuts, I bet it’s worthwhile. And I’ll investigate cannacure. Sounds like an awesome way to preserve cuts longer. I have been dipping them in root hormone before wrapping the ends. Hope that might boost the rooting when the arrive.

I’ve never purposely added silica. But I bet it’d help the cuts stay rigid and survive the journey. So much to consider!

To the Internet. Thanks for reaching out friend!

Another successful envelope cut rooted.

Add Stardawg (Corey) to the cut list.

Thanks @Pleiochasium :seedling::green_heart:

The first things to show def in rooting cuts is p and or k

P and k are not stored in the same quantity as n in leafs so they run out soonest ( especially if veg feed ie higher n than p and k )
P for roots k for plant health ( vibrancy of green not darkness dullness that’s n ) kind off

Too much n in cuts slows down the rooting in cuts

So for a week befor taking cuts feed with bloom type feed 1/3/2 , 1/2/2 etc , lower n so root faster , higher p and k for rooting and plant health

Your cuts will stay green as they root putting you ahead of the game
: )

A lot of cloning success comes most importantly from prep of mums before hand

That’s the difference from 7 day rooting till 21 days and frazzled yellow clone to lush bright green ( preping mums first ) faster rooting and zero recovery time

I’ve sent both cuts and rooted clones

Never in the cold weather it definitely slows the rooting process also if it’s a major weather event they may not make it

I do the same prep as ifish suggested it really works

I’ve never tried an envelope method
Always in a box
