Happy you stopped by for a little visit.
Successfully grafted the Pink Kush onto a Purple Kush clone.
The start of anouther muilty strain bonsai Mother…
Grafting, that’s cool.
What is your goal? One mother plant to supply different strain clones? That would save on space.
Pretty much. Just to keep genetics. It’s useful to take clones from.
Good job. I really should do this myself in my 1x1x2 tent.
Thanks man. Still kinda mourning my last bonsai Mother. It’s a little bitter sweet for me moving onto the next.
This is so cool.
I’ll be following this one from the beginning!
It appears that you split to mother plants stalk and pinched the new cutting inside, correct?
Do you have any suggested links or specific technique you like for grafting?
Here’s my fat Bastard looking much better from the worm castings and healthy dose of nutes. Also it’s been below 100° for the last week or so so that also helps .
Yes. It’s a technique called Cleft grafting or wedge grafting.
Here is a link to a video I made on how I do it.
Glad to hear it’s recovering. Hoping the best for your grow man!
Thanks and thanks. So I took a clone from her and damn it’s 16" tall in a solo. Wanted to wait to put her into flower but might have spacial restrictions. I guess that’s a good problem.
Very cool!
I think I will try this in the future as it seems like a great way to save space and keep multiple cuts.
That’s awesome, nice!
Do you have a grafting tool?
No I just use a box knife. @Foreigner
I have a question about seeds when you bred one of your wild multi strain plants. Did the different strains produce different looking seed patterns and colors?
Honestly I can’t remember what the patterns and colours of the seeds were. I think I have a picture somewhere. One sec.
Here is the only pictures i could find of the muilt strain on one plant breeding project seeds. I have only done that once.
Hard to tell the difference. Photos are kinda bad.
