Anybody else goof up their light cycle cause of DST?

Not gonna happen. Those are sips. And I’m like 4 weeks into flower. I’ll let it coast and chalk it up as a learning experience. You know I thought these were gonna be auto fem
Turned out photo reg…plus they’re too tall to pull out of the tent. When they leave it’ll be in parts

Checked out your thread. Neat cabinets. Very tidy space @Mr.Sparkle Mr. Sparkle. I’m going back to autos after this. I thought these were herm seeds from my last auto run until they didn’t autoflower and I got 2 males. Mephisto order with all of their tallest strains is inbound now.

If you add too much molasses, if that’s what you used for sugar, it won’t foam. Also low temps it doesn’t foam. I wish I new if it was still good. One things you should have after 12 hrs is a slippery/ slimey feeling container below the water level.
That means it worked. Those are all beneficial microbes, So make sure you scrape them off the wall of the container with a spatula and thoroughly mix before you water each plant or it will all get watered out at the end of your watering. The good stuff settles to the bottom Quickly.

Pelletized chicken manure topdressed works great and starts to work within a week. Contains all 3 major nutes and calcium. Add in a little bit of castings and a little bit of kelp if you have it, but its not necessary. 1 tbsp per foot of plant or per gallon of soil, whichever amount is smaller.

Used a few tablespoons raw honey as a sugar. I was considering agave necter which I also have.

I don’t know if honey is a good idea, because it’s anti bacterial and it could harm some of the micro life, causing fungal colonies To take over your brew mix and make your ph take a nose dive. If you see the leaves getting light or anything strange like that, that’s what happened. I’m sure you’re good… I keep honeybees so I will eagerly await your outcome.

I use organic unsulphured black molasses

Hi @Upstate I couldn’t tell you if the honey made.my ph drop as I don’t have a good way of checking soil ph. I am running sips so I get no runoff. I don’t own a soil pen though I want one. These plants were suffering badly before the honey so it’s hard to tell if that made it worse. I’ll make a note no honey in the future cause that sounds like reasonable logic

I don’t.
Do p h stuff myself. If you see the leaves going light in color or something like varigated leaves on the top of the plant, you’ve likely thrown the p.H off. I’m a soil grower, so I’m not too good at Fixing things.
I think it’s worth looking into a little bit more as to whether honey is a good option or not… I guess your plants will let you know.

These 2 are all but finished. I’m considering chopping tomorrow when I’ll have time.

hard for me to make certain about cause and affect since im more or less limping to the finish with these. idk if it was my inexperience with organic ferts or they just got too tall and the lites burnt em. even still these are some of the biggest nuggs ive grown to date. youd expect that there would be some chonkers on 6 foot trees like this tho
