Trying to find a good steam / warm humidifier, but so far only Vicks brand
Plenty cold ultrasonic ones

Here’s what @GrouchyOldMan recommends.
Sorry. I totally overlooked the 240vac part…
No worries I think I’ll go with the Vicks one
I personally use a levoit humidifier with a 6L tank and it works with my inkbird controller but it’s a cool mist. Why does it need to be a warm mist?
I have low rh , have used sonic ones before but always disliked how the leafs looked
@GrouchyOldMan recommended a steam warm humidifier
So going to try it : )
Sounds like something you might get from a medical supply store rather than just general merchandise
when i think warm humidity i think sauna. put some hot rocks in water and there you go. might be a bit tedious but i’m sure a do-yourself version would be easier to fabricate than retail models. $0.02
@ifish Are you using tap water or distilled? If your using tap water it will leave specs on your plants which sounds like what your describing
My tap water is extremely soft 40ppm
I felt the droplets were too big and landed on leafs making them look overwatered from not able to transpire as well , kind off
Was years ago , since then I just embraced the low rh , lots of worse things you can have
But grouchy ‘s post intrigued me to try again
That makes a bit more sense. Good luck in your search
I’ve always wondered if this would be beneficial in my clone areas…. Those Vicks ones are cheap, and pretty small/flat I had no idea . Glad you made this thread @ifish
@TopShelfTrees1 im going for warm mist Vicks ( steam ) , they different than ultrasonic vick ones
I’m going to grab one too, I like the idea of the warmth a lot, saves me from needing to pump heat in there. Thanks for the link, those look perfect 3.8 l isn’t bad at all either. Nice!
This is not a steam humidifier but a plate with perlite on it and water poured on it will give off a lot of humidity. 🥸
