Apollo 11 Genius F4 Open Pollination by Bodhi - Preservation

I cut down 5 of the males tonight, the other 3 will be in the coming days.

The females are full of very early seeds.

Oh hell yeah. Awesome to see some Apollo 11 work. Pretty rare these days. Very exciting

I have collected a small pile of pollen from the males that were cut down. Going to pick up some supplies and will do a small pollen giveaway next week.

Tomorrow i will also get some flower pics, i have been slacking on that part.

Oh a tip for faster pollen separation, a Kuerig reusable pod. Look for the one with mesh on bottom and sides. A metal strainer first and then the Kuerig pod made this a process of minutes instead of hours. I used to hand sift on plates!!

What a brilliant idea, just googled the Kuerig pods and for £1.62 you can’t go wrong - Thanks for this amazing tip   :v:t2:

Sorry for the lack of flower pictures, my light schedule is not lining up with my work schedule on this one.

Ooh, I hate that. Been the same for me lately. Looks like you’re bringing them towards the finish nicely anyway.

Looking good I can definitely see the Apollo influence on my pagoda f1 mom any noticeable smells you are getting?

Mainly sweet fruit and a little funk, each female has a different balance of that.

This is exciting ^ and seems like you’ve probably found the scents that Bodhi described as “pineapple cheetos”.
Your plants look very happy and resinous.

That smell combo is definitely in there, sometimes not all at once. I believe 1 female is sweeter and 1 is funkier, the last is more balanced of the 2…its pretty cool to be honest.

I did do a seed test this morning, 2 of 3 were full but not mature and the 3rd was about 75 developed.

So i figure 2 more weeks minimum but likey 3 to 3 1/2.

These will be awesome to run. I’ve always been a huge Apollo fan, I know the effects will be right up my alley
