At what rate do trichomes mature?

I’m wondering if they’re is a specific Time line which the plants trichomes mature…

I know you just watch and wait .

I’ve got 5 plants in flower. 3 out of 2 staggered By maybe 10 Days.

Noticing a lot of lowers are clear /white .

Been bending all the branches outwards / training to get them more light lower down on the branches flowers

Is this going to help them mature faster ?

My logic is plain and dumb lol…tops get mature faster cause they’re eexposes To more light…

If i expose lowers to get more light penetrating, they’ll mature .

I feel like the bottom of the branch /cola is going to nevvvveer come around.

I’m starting to notice amber on the leaves trichs. Still Cloudy white . Haven’t bothered scopin them yet,

I’m also wondering if the pace of the maturity can be controlled in the other direction , slowing them down.

I have been cutting back My lights to 75% , is this not good for the plants to do this 5 weeks in?

What’s are the factors that correspond with maturing trichomes??

Should I blast lights till harvest or is it fine to cut them back? I won’t get as much penetration i guess, but I don’t want to stress them out,

Thx all

Hahahahahahhaha .

thanks bro, appreciate the reply.

Veg troubles all day , flowering I get through pretty well.

I’m in no rush , il let them do theyere thing and crank the light , Just don’t want to over cook them. I can do the harvest the tops n leave the Lowers.

But I waiting on Tent for drying that’s coming in the mail so I can experiment a hang dry for my self

Yeah, could harvest the tops and let the lowers go longer.
I’ve done it too, depends on how even I get the canopy.

Yea this canopy’s pretty even,

But it’s the lowers of the branches, not many
lowers . Made sure of that .

I’ll let it ride.

But doesn’t that make sense though , the Lowers of the bud would mature quicker if exposed to light ??? Or is it just natural order of things lol

Ofcourse, the more light they get the better.

I’ll be doin some Bending , aid with air flow at same time.

Can’t wait for this harvest.

Been a while since the whole ritual

It can be genetic, I’ve grown plants that finished from the bottom up and from the top down also seen quite a few that matured rather evenly.

Super friggen Neato!

Genetics again !

I’m hoping I’ll be able to tell this time around by my eye . I usually use the loop but haven’t yet. .

Work just started up and I have 5 plants i late flower. Hopefully I can view the time required to harvest as therapeutic - not labourous.

there is a lot that take place during ripening of the buds. environmental conditions play a big part. light, temp humidity influence what the plant does. as well as how well it was grown and prepared for flowering. did you prepare it like an Olympic athlete or let her be a weekend warrior. food and diet matters alot. i mostly grow organic, some what living soil. and have found when the plant has what it needs from the soil it will take care of its self in due time. i always am finding myself impatient waiting for the finish." are we there yet" just like@Heritagefarms said genetics too. you just got to do what ya gota do.go with the flow of the grow. its done when it is done.
