Audrey III and Photo double grow

I checked on the tent this morning before lights on and no trace of the mites were present on any leaves on any of the plants. The training on Booberry makes spraying her down much easier. I gave the tent another foliar of neem oil to be safe.

The foliar recipe is 50/50 distilled water/isopropyl alcohol, 1 teaspoon neem oil, and 0.5 teaspoon Castile soap. Total volume of foliar recipe is 32oz.

I’m ordering predatory mites and they should arrive by the time the tent is beneficial bug safe again.

The plants are all looking really good though, so I guess it makes sense that the mites came back right as they started to bounce back again. As much as I don’t want to spray Booberry, I had to. I’m not scrapping this grow.

Now for some long overdue pictures

I ordered phytoseiulus persimilis mites to preg on any remaining spidermites. If somehow none are left, then that’s 55 well spent I won’t regret.

So far no sign of mites that I can see. I peeked in a hour early in case anything had to be done. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just older leaves being eaten and new growth resuming finally it seems. New growth looks very good and I don’t see any noticable issues in any of them. The older growth is still concerning, but that’s just how this grow is going no matter what I do. Hopefully soon they are going to settle into a healthy growth pattern.

In other news Booberry is 100% in flower. Like Zelda she seems to still be responding to photoperiod and doesn’t seem to be running on a timer at all. Curious. She’s definitely in a early flower stage and past the preflower stage by far at this point and it’s obvious that something is going on with this line I’m not aware of. Maybe Blue Zkittlez has some autoflower in it somewhere  obviously Platinum Glue auto has autoflower genetics, so if they can express a recessive trait without being an f2 that really makes me wonder.

Marauder is eating her faded leaves, but otherwise seems to be bouncing back to normal.

Jelly pie is looking better now too. IDK what made them all start eating their lowers, but it’s still effecting them a little bit.

DBHP is also eating their lowers as well. the stretch they’re showing looks like low light symptoms, but at the same time they’re showing almost white bleached tips at first when the new growth comes in before they grow bigger and green out the leaf.

Based on the nutrient deficiency chart Booberry has a potassium lockout or deficiency.

A lot has happened while I’ve been away. DBHP is male now. Right after they finally greened up darker green too:skull::skull::skull:. Shit happens. I have more seeds. Not going to figure out how to deal with this the hard way. I needed more room in the tent anyways. Also sadly DBHP lost the red sap a little bit ago too. Just regular old clear sap now. They got pretty big finally too. Makes sense. Males do like to grow the tallest.

I’ll have to keep an eye on jelly pie now also. ambiguous presex RN. I see what looks to be a calyx with reddish purple hairs coming out. I can barely see it with my eyes. My camera won’t even see shit in focus that small. The other presex are more rounded in shape than I’d like. Really is reminding me of a pod honestly. They don’t seem to be on a stem, but they’re extremely small RN.

Marauder is looking a little thirsty now. It’s been over a week since I last watered. I’ve been using my moisture meter and how the plants look to determine the next watering time. Today is the day. Took a bit for sure.

Booberry is looking a lot better. Leaves are still fading, but being a confused plant in flower will do that. With the extra room in the tent now to work with I might be able to flip to flower soon.

The rest of the seeds I’ve been waiting on finally arrived today  I ordered 10 seeds and got 25:drooling_face: regular autoflower seeds that someone spent a couple years on. Nice big seeds too. I was legitimately expecting to not get the full advertisement pictures for quality, but they definitely went above and beyond on this sale:metal::grin:

Now I have 9 known genetics we all would know and 25 seeds of Deimos. Plenty of seeds for a decent auto run next grow once I figure out a new place to grow.

They’ve all drank the water I gave them and I’ll be gone for a few days. LITFA works out perfectly. I gave them all a drench. My moisture meter said that it was time to water. Also that the roots are so dense I can’t find a spot near the edge they haven’t spread a gap free fibrous root system. I wound up ripping roots to check with the probe even at the surface. Jelly pie is making anchor roots finally. Booberry is just not giving any fucks and is doing her own thing. I’m not sure how much longer they’ll be doing this for before they leave a large gap in the canopy.

Body bagged DBHP:skull::skull::skull:

Sweet! Keep it up and make note of everything you did I whatever way works for you where you can get the info later after forgetting it. That’s been the only way in stressful times I’ve been able to learn anything this grow. Most of it was cementing everything @MomOnTheRun taught me. I still lost a decent amount of information though and I’m doing my best to go off memory on some of it💀

I should have known turning off the humidifier wasn’t a good idea. I’ve been away so much though that I haven’t been able to refill it on a regular schedule. Leaves are starting to look frilly from heat I assume. Tbe edges almost look eaten or shredded up. It resembles cotton whatever is happening to the leaves. It’s not mold or webs. I’ve been feeling them and handling the spots to be safe. It just feels like frayed cotton on the edges. There’s a slight curling up pattern too. I’ll have pictures at lights on again. It’s almost like something is eating the serrated edges off the tops😬 I’ve been inspecting leaves above and below to check for eggs. Nothing visible to the naked eye. Not even my left eye up close or my right eye from across the tent. I’ll have to get a scope again to see if it’s a pest or not.

Yeah, I wasn’t having a good day. I’ll delete that post.

Pics from Jan 4. I haven’t been in the tent in the last couple of days for recent pics. I’ll add in new pics after they sleep again. I dimmed the 4 QB 120 to the lowest the 240h meanwell will allow. I was seeing clear signs of heat stress. I’ve only peeked through the window in the front and they seem to be doing much better as a whole. I’ll have to see what the temperature has been.

Sorry this post took a bit to get finished. Uploader is having issues. The same picture either gives an error saying it’s above 2200Kb or uploads after 12 tries. I’ll try to add them in a different post, but I’ll probably just work on figuring out individual shots as needed from now on to keep the server load lower than 15 pictures per post😬

I can see with the extra room in the tent now I should work on training them again. Booberry is a little bunched up and could use a good spread before the flip once jelly pie shows me what those ambiguous presex are. With how long I’ve been gone each week I can’t afford to 12/12 yet. I think I will buy a couple of trellis nets for a 4x4 to help with training now that I also need to buy something for the cob light to raise it as close to the ceiling as possible.

Okay jelly pie might be a tough call or it’s bananas. They’re growing double crescent shaped presex. They’re all so small i can’t get a shot in focus to see it, but it resembles a pigs foot. Still coming from one base with no stem raising it. The ones I saw could have been green pistils from a extremely small calyx, but doesn’t green pistils mean hermaphrodite?:grimacing: I checked on her presex development and it looks like some white hairs are sticking out of some. With a few with purple tips it’s hard to see.

Marauder is looking much better now. The heat stressed leaves are looking better, but the damage on the edges were set. It’s whatever. I’m going to be ordering things for training in the next week.

Booberry is looking like she’s in love with the lower light now. The leaves are growing big and fat and it makes me almost certain that the early flower trait there is probably brought out by too much light intensity for the stage they were in😬
