Australian Bastard Cannabis

Cheers, Its ABC site 4 from a seed increase I did. Used the best females for an outcross. Working on a few mutant projects, pretty fun things to work with!

They look great :+1: I gave some to my neighbour last year, he is going to grow them out this year.

I’ve got three female Pine Tar Bastards (2nd generation/1st backcross)growing outside this year:

This one’s growing like a shrub, more outwards than upwards.

Here’s a tall one. It’s doing amazing well considering it’s behind a much larger Sativa. It’s already begun flowering :grinning:. Iirc, the ones i grew last year didn’t begin flowering until September. I apologize, but it’s hard to make it out due to so much greenyness. lol

And the third one. I expected this one to get a lot bigger considering it’s not competing for water, nutrients or light.

I’ve got a sprout of ABC from my boy out in cali that is about ready for her #1 nursery pot. Note: I don’t know if it is a girl or not yet but I’m excited!

@joheimgrohen
Is it a pure abc from Australia or a hybrid?

Interesting how different the growth habits are.

My second generation (88G13xSour Blutooth)xABC with the “ABC” leaf type have somewhat wider and larger leaves than the pure ABC. And although they are still slow growers, they don’t seem to be quite as slow.

I’ve got about twenty of these with the desired double recessive ABC leaf type to do an open pollination and lock it in.

@middleman There’s definitely variety in the PTBs. The shrubby one has branches that grow faster than the central stalk to the point that the central stalk has barely grown since i put it outside. The taller ones have long branches, but they’re not really out growing the main stalk. I’ve noticed fatter leaves too, and chalk it up to the pine tar kush genes.

As far as I know she’s pure. The guy that gifted her to me lists the parents on the label and all this one had was" A.B.C. (Australian Bastard Cannabis) "

My Australian Bastard Cannabis, seems to be growing pretty good. I thought after reading about it, it would grow slower. Thanks @repins12 for the seeds.

It’s quite the different looking plant…would have been great in guerilla days. How’s the taste?

Hell yes to this thread. I’m so happy to see the development happening with the ABC strains.

Update on the ABC

Looking good matey. I had a potent ABC cross stunk like hell. Had the ABC leaf traits. Lost it due to too many house inspections etc. Do miss growing them . Only 1 has ever been stinky the rest rest has no odour
