Az growers, share your desert grows here?

That is a healthy bush up top there… I love big ass plants! What strains and what do you got those girls growing in?

Thought I’d throw out an AZ outdoor garden update as we begin rolling into summertime .

New Caledonia
The first one had only cotyledons showing for the first week and a half, wish I had taken a pic but had figured it would be culled. Instead I put it to the side and then finally some gnarly growth started. Now I’m keeping it to see how it turns out. The other plant is coming along well.

Queen Mother :arrow_heading_down:

Panama :arrow_heading_down:

Syrian :arrow_heading_down:

Ethiopian :arrow_heading_down:

Lolab x AC/DC F2 :arrow_heading_down:
Hoping to get an AC/DC leaning chemotype on these.

Nepal Jam :arrow_heading_down:
Gifted by the very generous @highminwin thanks buddy! Sadly two of the other seedlings dampened off but I have two more to plant and then I have several of the other strains you sent ready for their water/peroxide soak this week . Going to have lots of cool strains to showcase and hopefully lots of seeds.

Mango Smile x (Low Ryder x UltraViolet) :arrow_heading_down:
These were gifted back in the fall by a generous OGer @firehead. Grew three of them back then and they were all males so I’ hoping for some ladies this round.

Black Pepper Hashplant :arrow_heading_down:
Gifted by @lefthandseeds. Pretty excited to add this unexpected gift to the lineup. One of the seedlings appears a bit shy and hopfully will catch up to the other two.

damn @deeez99, you’re giving @AzSeaindooin420 a run for his money with all them babies you’re nursing there. very exciting! i love your selection too. your results will definitely affect selection for my next run, as i was thinking of popping some of those colorado sativa selections.

you guys are also influencing me to make my next run to maximize strains. for my first run, i’ve popped three or four seeds for three strains, but next go round i’m thinking of two seeds from five strains.

Great selections! I am most curious about that Ethiopian strain. Is that one from Ace?

Syrian is very unique as well. Those and the Ethiopian are said to be good THCV producers.

It’s not direct from ACE but yes it’s origins are from them. I wasn’t aware Syrian was known for THCV but I had read that about the Ethiopians. I’m waiting until they get more growth so I can run them through a TLC test. I also recently purchased Hoku’s Eraser V that I’m planning to throw in the mix and possibly make some THCV crosses.

Yea I’d really like to focus on just a few since it’s entirely possible to get different effects from several plants of all the same strain but there’s just so many new ones I want to try and with it being the outdoor growing season it’s just too easy to drop more seed. Looking forward to your updates.

How many weeks along are these?

Nice! I have both types of their Syrian V. I’d send you some if you wanted to try them. They’re pretty high on my list to grow but I can’t get started again for at least a few months.

My winter and spring OD crops got ravaged by budworms. Def use the BT asap!

My immature/fallen soldier graveyard… mostly 7 and 10 gal pots, filled with used “cactus” mix of Pumice, decomposed granite, coco-coir, and local commercial greenwaste compost,
Topdressed with various amendments and amendment blends.

I toss all my random immature seeds, plus any I pick up off the floor, into these pots, and cull out males weekly.

Trying to use the power of cannabis to turn the initially rocky, quick draining, low organic matter, cactus dirt into lush, brown earth.

It was 100degrees today. 2ed time so far this year. It’s officially hot.

Oh man that’s brutal! May have to consider spinosad too (insecticidal super soap). Just remember when applying either to do it at lights out hours
