Maybe start feminizing a few of those kick ass seeds for your friend Meesh over here so I can get them in the ground early and really blow shit up!:grin:

Iā€™m facing trim apocalypse. Iā€™ve been pre trimming everything so when ready I cut and hang them. I thought this was my week but things are still holding at cloudy but as much or more clear. Itā€™s really warm again except nights but my large plants seem to need more time.

I am finding a tad of PM on a couple so I have to act fast. Iā€™m getting as much leaf off now and I may just dip those plants in a bucket with Green Cure rather that trying to spray. One plant is just too big and too many buds.I think the only way is to submerge them. I donā€™t think itā€™ll hurt them. I may do a second wash two days later.

My Slippery rails x Cake Crasher is chugging along. I wish I had gotten her larger first but that killer heat came in right as I was trying to veg the new bunch. I should have just put them under lights but it is what it is. Spectral Tangerine and Spitting Cobra are all looking great. Iā€™m looking forward to them. Iā€™ll get some pics as they get larger.

It wonā€™t hurt them. The green cure is only potsssium bicarbonate. Pretty close to washing them in baking soda

What does bx mean? Back crossed?

Yes indeed

Thank you! So another uneducated questionā€¦ what does that mean exactly? Like bred back to the original plant?

Yup thatā€™s it

You are correct. When you cross a generation back with one of the parents. Itā€™s most often done to reinforce one of the parental traits. Like GG4xOH (Gorilla Glue #4 x Original Haze) as a loving couple giving 50/50 parentage. But if you then cross one of their sweet little babies back to the OH you end up with 75% OH and 25% GG4. Youā€™ll notice this sometimes when you are looking online for seeds. Youā€™d see it expressed as [(GG4xOH)xOH] That would be one I would do because I love Haze.

Ive been growing a while but until recently I was focused on growing well then learning the botany. The botany is almost as much fun because you can really start to tailor your grow to what works best for you. In my case, my wife and I both smoke but for completely different reasons so her optimal weed is different than mine. Itā€™s so cool to start mapping out the journey/experiment.

Once you find what you are looking for there, what are you planning to cross with that Blueberry you got cooking? Or is that secret special ā€œfor me to know and you to find outā€ stuff?

Is this one of your creations? It sounds very interesting.

@Meesh - right at the moment the crosses I most want to do with the Blueberry are these

Blueberry BX f2s
Dosido x Blueberry BX
Double Cookies x Blueberry BX
Fire Alien Kush x Blueberry BX
Face Off OG x Blueberry BX
Slippery Rails x Blueberry BX
MAC 1 x Blueberry BX

think thatā€™s a good start

Oh man those sound tasty! So besides DJ Short and JOTI, who has a decent strain of BB? I thought I read the JOTI strain was the original but could be wrong.
I checked a while back but didnā€™t see it on your site.
