I saw these and questioned if I should jump…
Awesome project here!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, had to pop 2 more seeds and now we are at a solid 6 plants! A lil stretchy due to keeping them away from the light, but we got them propped up and lifted up towards the light now.

We are currently at Defcon 3 due to spider mites getting into the flower tent and war were declared Friday. We lost 1 of the 5 in flower, but we are bouncing back strong. Heavy defoliation today for everyone, neem and rosemary Friday and today (and probably every few days for the foreseeable future until the temps drop), and we’ll pyrethrum bomb in a few days to knock down the rest. Looks like we gotta bump up the IPM a couple more notches. I think they followed me in from the outdoor garden…

Exciting grow! Outta likes…except these.:heart::heart::heart::heart:
Had this one paid for and in the cart for a group of 20, but the company oversold their stock. Happy to see this grown out. Good luck!

This was the text of the guy who worked with Nevil at the time of the Seed Bank.

Someone asked if I knew anything about Friesland.
I know it isn’t really relevant to this thread as it was a SSSC strain, but is close to my heart, as it is a northern bullet proof strain.
I did a lot of research on this, as well as grew it for many
years and still do. As you probably know Friesland is the Northern
most province in the Netherlands. It was bred there for quickness
and mold resistance there.
My final conclusion is that it is a Balochistan Hash plant from Pakistan.
There was a lot of Baloch hash in the coffeeshops in Adam in the 70s and 80s so I figured it came from someone who brought seeds from there with the hash. And it has the same acrid profile and bud structure. If you look up pics online you will see what I mean.

I might have seen that comment, which is what sparked my curiosity to get a good seed stock of Friesland to compare the two. I’m very interested to see the two compared. I appreciate the input!

I saw that several months back, but was unable to locate that when I started this thread. I appreciate you locating that! I couldn’t even find it with the way back machine.

Thank you for dropping some images into this thread! The plant looks good, you’re probably getting close to cutting that down soon right? I’ll probably bug you for some information once I start to run my freezeland after this

All the luck with this one, I have never seen it growing indoors.

Cheers.

Yeah only a outdoor variety really. Expect some more vigor than the original friesland. Kinda obvious as it is a hybrid of and ibl line.

I already did a first cut off of the plant a week ago and will allow the insides to dense up before taking the rest of the plant.

Just a small update for you all, I topped a few of the faster growing babies yesterday. Looks like BT #4 bleeds purple sap when topped. I’m excited to see how this one will look as the grow progresses!

Spidermite progress update, broke down and cleaned repeatedly. Released beneficials and upped the IPM game. No more signs of mites, but we lost most of my mature plants to ensure nothing is hiding. It’s a lot easier to manage my clones than checking every leaf on my 7 gal and 15 gal plants.
