I was handed a bong with 80% & it was not a nice trip at all.

Immediately after the hit my vision was ā€œstuckā€ā€¦as in I turned left & right & saw no motion, just the ugliest ā€œstained glass windowā€ ever. Brown & puke & turquoise shapes.

5 minutes of that shit until I realized I had wicked cottonmouthā€¦ started to drink a can of coke but the fizziness just felt like a dry ocean wave & I set down outside in a field(was a 55 acre farm)ā€¦ just needed ā€œclean airā€! Gotta purge that shit out!

That didnā€™t work & I returned to the house to find some friends & one of them tried to mess with me (ooooowww yourr triiii i ii iiii p iiiii n) And then tells me about his new 16v Mercedes, & I said ā€œWhy? What the fuck would you do that for? Thatā€™s the most pointless shit I ever heard.ā€ (Iā€™m a gearhead)

Then went & took a shower thinking I could ā€œwashā€ the shit out of my systemā€¦ In the shower there was a blue buddha statue hovering behind me & over my shoulder. Told me I should tell the slut I was into that I was into her slutiness.

Then I gave up & went to my room, domed an 1/8th of blue dream, then laid in my bed under the covers trippppppin for another hour.

The bitches that loaded the bong said 10-15 minutes & youā€™ll see us as Lego people. Total BS.

This is a very interesting tidbit. I have some Iboga growing and I have always heard of it as very peaceful, but I think being forced into a hut and locked in might affect ā€œset and settingā€ lol. I can definitely understand the idea though as I often have a reversal of thought patterns that are petty and donā€™t serve me, though they are often accompanied by high anxiety. I almost always end up more enlightened than I was before, but growth can be painfulā€¦

Day 31 updateā€¦
Slowly but surely we are moving along, 2, 4, and 3 seem to have the most resin production as of right now.
#5 is musky. #4 purple bleeder is a very strong sweet tarts smell, so is #3 but not as nearly as pungent. #2 is starting to put on a chemically smell. #1 not really getting much from.
Hereā€™s a closup of #4

And here Rainbow Belts v3

Iā€™m still seeing very wide leaves. Maybe they would have slimmed up if they had more veg time? I actually prefer the fat Indica fan leaves, but I know you had started with NLD seeds.

Great looking plants. Very dark, Iā€™m sure they would have been black as night under other conditions such as low temps and high nitrogen. Iā€™ve never grown a fully black or dark purple variety, is there still a possibility of these gals going dark like that?

Lol funny! I read that impending doom description and nearly ordered right then and there. I donā€™t even know that I like that feeling. I just want some weed that scares meā€‹:joy::rofl:
@FeloniousMonk Balochi cannabis is a Sativa Indica mixā€¦youā€™ll get both phenos from a parent leaning either way if you grow the offspringā€¦
There is influence from Tirah Valley and Kandahar, and some lines have been farmed hundreds of years, going back to Persian Kings, and before that some South Caspian influences( mythic strain called one puff) are extremely likely. The whole genepool may indeed have begun here on the North face of Elbruz mts. , and later moved by necessity( war) to Balochistan around 500 years ago, where other genepools have since mixed with it to some extent, greater or lesser depending on the care of the farmer. Good chance Marco Polo puffed on this oneā€™s ancestors.
Plants turn black late in flower. Around 3/4 to 4/5ths of the way thru flower. Cold is most likely necessary. Root temps under 60 or air temps under 50 best guess (maybe 40). The black trait is in there, its just not overly common, even with a momma thatā€™s black colored. If you let these get cold and donā€™t find a black plant, most assuredly there are some next generation plants that will have the trait.
Ps thanks for the seedsšŸ˜

Night time temps are 63-68 and daytime goes from 68-75. Using a high N and P to promote healthy seed production as well. Using my preferred nutrient line for small pots (Rooted Leaf Agritech) and adding fish hydrolysate to keep up the nitrogen demands. They pretty much get 4x weekly heavy nutrient feedings & 3x weekly plain water with just microbes (rotation for that is my EM1, fish waste from a local producer, and king crab). They can handle it like champs!

A lot of amazing information here. Thank you for contributing to this thread!

Iā€™ve been having some fun with my new macro camera! Here some shots of #4.

Would non-glandular trichomes be something that is common in landrace/heirlooms? Seems like most of these Black tigers have some extent of these present.

Looks pretty milky, Iā€™d lean towards heads falling off

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m thinking too. Maybe some heads detached already. Fake resin( headless resin) is mostly a western creation. Havenā€™t seen it on too many landraces I can think of, but havenā€™t grown many Indicas yet either. I do see some in your photo though. More common on small branchlets( lolā€¦i made that upā€¦i mean small branches) than buds from the little Iā€™ve seen, but Iā€™m going to take another look.
So early for milky resin! Iā€™m not used to that

Fake resin sounds horrible!

It is. Nothing worse than firing up a gorgeous absolutely delicious nugget, and then no high. Pretty common with the little dispensary garbage Iā€™ve tried. I donā€™t smoke just to smoke. I smoke for effect. (thereā€™s been notable exceptions with the dispensary weed. Some is great)

Iā€™ve heard of people putting ice cubes in the soil at the base of the plant to trick it into turning purple, largely irrespective of air temperature. Does that actually work?

Those look pretty spot on for the region. Iā€™ve been growing landraces from these areas for a few years, including the balochistan 4 ILE offers, and theyā€™ve almost all looked pretty identical to what you are showing. They are as genuine of landrace as youā€™ll get in farmed seeds, and that means they are mostly unworked. Mother Earth weed. Small, spotty, little white dot looking trichomes, sometimes with more hair-like looking things. The high with landrace indicas is less about power, and more about depth and complexity in the effect, so thc production shouldnā€™t really be the main focus imhoā€¦ thatā€™s where the modern scene went wrongā€¦ ā€¦ ā€¦ ā€¦ Be prepared for a lot of diversity.

I can see what you mean about the diversity between the 5 there arenā€™t many similarities. I am excited to run a couple of these run again in my 15 gallon containers to see how larger more mature plants grow.

Exactly. The same is true of any landrace or even hybrids, at least to a lot of old-timers and a growing number younger guys. I think thatā€™s what makes the difference between casual weed smokers and true ā€œheads.ā€
By the way, Iā€™m not trying to denigrate anyone. Weed is for everyone; hell, we have cannabinoid receptors in our brains. One could make an argument that C. sativa was bio-engineered for human consumption.
