Preach it, brother!
I bet it does work. Watering with ice water is said to increase resin production too. I haven’t tried it, as my local weather typically suffices as a great substitute for ice cubes lol.
To swipe a quote from ol Ben Franklin, albeit a little changed…
Weed ( beer in the original quote)is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy.
If I had to choose only one plant that was proof
Humanity was being looked out for by a higher being, cannabis is it. Food, shelter, clothing, medicine and recreation all rolled up( no pun intended lol) into one package.
I was able to root a nug of the RB26 that I just harvested. I managed to take some of the pollen of the BT6 male and develope some seeds! Looks like I got 8 of Black Tiger x (Rainbow Belts v3 x GTR)!
Looks like your in the home stretch with these! Happy girls
Figure I should throw out an update, chopped 3 of the plants that had dying leaves. I could see fully formed seeds already so I figured it should be fine. Don’t want anything bad spreading around. I think it was the Rainbow Belts, #2, and #3? Definitely have the #4 and #5 alive for the next week, so I think #1 was spared for now as well. I want to run them until at least day 63. Here’s some pics, I’m waiting for chop day to share pics of #4 as it’s the only one fading to purple. Staggered processing of the seeds will make my life easier anyways.
Looking great. I’ve been enjoying the show
You’ve done a great job with thes.
Thank you @Emeraldgreen & @Tejas! I appreciate you all following along for this run.
Rainbow Belts v3 x Black Tiger seeds are sorted. Probably getting one more plant processed this afternoon.
I can’t bring myself to kill off #4 since it just keeps fading to purple. That is currently on day 67, but I don’t think I want to take it further than day 70.
Thank you for letting me follow along with you.
For the black tigers, I think I will not sort out the less mature seeds. The first two were chopped early so they will have more of these seeds.
The #3 the musky smelling plant, but it has HUGE seeds.
The #2 was the greasy trichome plant that had a chemically lemon smell. My gloves were shiny and slick after breaking that plant down.

Did you happened to sample any finger hash?
Big seeds on the #3 plant! That’s a good bit of seeds too, congrats!
There actually wasn’t anything stuck to my fingers oddly enough. It actually looked like the gloves were wet… I did smoke some of kief that was sifted in the trim bin. The two tasted something close to lemon pepper. I probably did 5 laps around the grocery store forgetting what I was there for. I went in for street tacos and came out with curry makings.
I wish I remembered if that one came from the huge seed I planted. One seed was 2-3x larger than the others. I guess seed shape/size might be something I should write in my notes moving forward.
Nice work preserving this one. Beautiful seeds.
Thanks! I am happy doing my part to keep these Heirlooms alive. I can’t say I love cannabis if I didn’t do my part to preserve it.
With the current timeline I will have everything wrapped up in ~2 weeks and can start shipping things out!
If there is any trusted member up in Canada that would volunteer some help doing a little distributing up north, I would greatly appreciate the assistance! I can handle the US and other countries, as I don’t think there will be too many to ship out. But I know we got a strong Canadian presence here on OG and it would help save a ton of money in international stamps.
Dude I am so impressed. I have to say that this has been my favorite grow to watch maybe ever. You started with a strain I’ve been extremely interested in and did an excellent job with the grow. Final buds look amazing and I’m intrigued by the massive seeds you pulled out. Good work dude…
Just finished catching back on the thread. Awesome run here! Hope you’ll find a black beauty in the next gen. Meanwhile the taste and effect sounds interesting. Wonder how it behaves in crosses. I guess we’ll know soon with yours. Congrats for the preservation anyway.
Did you get that freezeland in the end btw?
