Baltimore Chapter 2 "The Wire"

I subscribe to that lately too. I barely defoliate now. Going natural is a faster grow. I used to trim heavy at week 3 of flower and pick off any leaves shading a bud site throughout. Now I tuck and roll! Happier plants. This run will tell me how yield is compared to defoliating and picking. I’ll let you know. Peace

Blessings…

Well now you both got me sold, I’m a habitual picker…
tuck and roll, you say?

That’s it right there. When the leaf blocks a sweet budlet. Hehe! Yeah when it starts to yellow and pulls away lightly on a tig I’ll toss them. Some plants seem to be stimulated by it. I guess an aggressive root system would mind some shaping up of old lower leaves.

Plants donseemnto give a response to be shook and manipulated slightly. Maybe like a woman responds to touch. Lol jk jk.:+1:

I started by topping them then the 3 wk haircut. All the big fans were gone by week 5. No more. Tuck those fans and shade leaves and let them be long haired freaks! Free and natural. Peace

Always I prefer to pop up like a jack in the box like dead presidents with a fuckin uzi. Oh yeah duck and roll the leaves.. I believe so. If they’re not harming anything or if they’re not shading your bare buds fannys, I’d say just pin em back. You can force a plant to “top itself” by bending the main grow tip and securing it with ye ol’ bread tie. Itl force branching without taking your main cola. Is that like bondage? No clue.

To each his own. I see prunned plants that are awesome. They’re are some really great pot wizards on this site. I say try methods and see what works best for your needs. If I spread my branches too much my plant count goes down but some plants love a little SOG. I love the mini trellis’ a guy made for each pot. Was cool af!

@oleskool830 beat me to it. I tried to buy Litfa from Reiko. I really needed it though.:+1:

100% the way to go, experiment and try new things. Push your limits and step outside your comfort zone to be more experienced and become a better grower. :grinning:

Exactly what this run is intended to do. I suspect the yield will be about the same as topping, trimming etc. We’ll see.

Get the fuck outa here lol. My man popped out of the wood works and threw a hand clap. Lol. Yes. That’s how that super gas has me. Shits good like ribs.:+1:

Now I gotta post that recipe. The plants love this soil. Now you gotta go from the base to the amended soil. I appreciate everone being so cool and chilled here. I look forward to seeing everyone mulling aboot.

Here’s an unknown strain that found some roots and I’m not exactly sure what it is but buddy is loving life so she’s gonna go the distance. Here’s to Reiko. He saved me from myself. Wonder where the jug of litfa is?:v:

Ahhh you can’t really see the spaghetti popping out. Those are expensive pots I use El Solo. Best cup ever. Hehe!

This to me is post worthy and how I fucked that money up. Randomly opening bags yesterday I found this box with some autos I bought. Roc Bud stuff from before his site crashed. He’s “trying” to get shit back on track.

Personally the way I was treated asking about the emails saying drop Tonite then wait for hours and he doesn’t load. He did that like 5 times over a couple months. Waiting hours for the drops all day.

Other than that he would be swimming in dough. I’m sure he will when his site is back running. I just don’t have enough time left in my life lol. Now how can I make more of these fucking guys. I have some Purple Rocberry Autos as well. I mean for the auto tent between my 2 favorite 'auto" guys gear here and some autos I picked up, this should be an awesome summer.

Im gonna crush these little fucks into the nose bleed section!:+1:

I’m having some problems with some of my clones. Some are very healthy and a few seem to be lacking something. This is where it’s gets to the point where I have got to start labeling pots by number and what soil blend is in which pot, how the clone looked before and after it rooted.

Here’s the problem plants symptoms. And there aren’t any bugs. Lol. Terminated. Anyways leaves are losing green, going white in the middle vein on the leaves (some of them). Yellowing of leaves edges to a rusting then the fuckers get crispy edges flake away. There aren’t any spider mites feeding on the leaves and.and previous damaged leaves were snipped.

My main goal is getting some nice healthy clones to hold these strains. Let’s see some in pics of the plants.

Cherry Tropicana

The temps have dropped low and I’ve been washing them off until clean.

They’re watered consistantly with just ph’d water.

Here’s how good the Gelato cut is. Man that’s the deal right there.

Here’s the Wilson 0. It’s clean as shit man wtf? Haha!

Now some are in the amended soil and some are in the base soil mix with just the main 3 compenents (soil) with some lime. Would a plant deplete the soil that fast and would an up pot help?

You can see some are really nice and green and some are beyond crispy? I’m no expert but I’d say the plants in the good soil look like they should. I was thinking, take some clones of the Cherry Trop. Build them up from small cuts trying to get them healthy from the beginning?

There are alot of factors. Soil is forgiving…thank God because sometimes, some just flop on me for a reason or another. Any thoughts? I’m always looking for help. I don’t have any bugs. Dude, I’m baffled. They haven’t literally froze…

Any thoughts @ReikoX ? Maybe up pot them into a larger pot with amended soil. The Mac looks ok but it looks like it could use SOME nutes. Even if it doesn’t like wet feet it still.needs food. Right?:+1:

The leaves are really taco-ed, how close to the light are they?

The lights like 14". It’s one of those Chinese Blurples. I use it to veg with primarily to cut the heat. I don’t wanna run my Eye full spec bulbs all the time even though they kill through all of the plants cycles of life.

You think a led light like that might be better backed off? The plants are extremely tight as you can see by the other two. Maybe I’ll raise it for a few days. It couldn’t hurt. I’ll let you know if it allows them to stretch a bit. The soil is pretty solid and they’re relatively young.

They’re showing signs of yellowing coming on from within the leaves of that makes sense. So I watered them with water ph’d and a few drops of cal mag. I don’t deviate from my routines dunno maybe the soil? The light was pretty close. Maybe a couple things together may relieve some stress. Like backing the lights off like I did.:+1:

Some of the leaves are drying like from the middle and getting fucking crispy like that Cherry turd. Haha! Sob the shit comes in 3’s or something. These last 3 were fucked in some fashion. Yeah that trop is edging and shit flaking all over but green here and there. I’m gonna order some ph drops. My meter is pretty on the money but…

I’m pretty patient. I better take a couple clones and nurse them back green, maybe see where I went wrong. Before they die.:v:

Looks like some type of bug. Not spider.mites, go figure. It resembles ph off balance, laves bending or curling a bit, leaves edging yellow to brown/purpling then flake away.

I guess that’s why it’s so hard to diagnose something without shaking a plant over a sticky and see what falls off or looking through the magnifier. I need to ID them they look like clear dots. Hopefully not broad mites but for sure there’s little white flecks almost like dried moisture.

The roots are beautiful on this plant. They’re coming out of the bottom. I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of mites. Really small white or clear at this point. Fuckers!

I was going to say the same thing. That laudenum looks solid. Hey Baltimore what is that? I still have male pollen from tiramisu. Tiramisu is really racey. Its part of my current problem. I think it triggers my anxiety bad. 3 hits im gone crazy. But i took 1 hit yesterday and was high. Like actually felt good but could feel lil tightness like if i smoked more id be off to the races. Its a pure petro profile gas for days. And acts like it too.
