Basement Gardens grow room

Hey  @TrichomesToStun!

I think I am lucky that I only see what I do - PM likes leaves, so I think this is all going to be ok. What I showed there is all I could see on 3 plants, one seems unaffected.

The large amount of trichomes on the plant make it tough to tell for sure, so I will be sure to check while trimming. But I am way more concerned about it spreading, honestly, this doesn’t scare me :joy::rofl:

make damn sure you cut off everything you see on those plants, even after you cut them it will still spread while there drying.

smoking pm will land you in the ER, its not something to mess with. there are ways to clean before drying but its over my head to explain how to do it properly though.

Yeah, sh*t happens, whether it’s PM, Aphids, Septoria, etc.
Good for you for spotting it early and taking steps to deal with it.

Thank you for that! @jaws - sounds like I will toss it - I definitely don’t need it and am not interested in trying to clean it up or anything. At this point I will focus on cleaning up that tent! I watched your battle closely, and have lost to PM before, so I am wary.

It is funny, when you’re in a good spot these aren’t really that big of a deal. Years ago tossing zips out the door was a frightening proposition. On to the next!

You could wash them with water and H2O2 Jorge Cervantes has a video on it. And make bubble or dabs with it or somerthing. But dont blame ya if dont wanna go through the hassle.

I can only imagine what kind of crap that was on the brick weed and regs I grew up with.

Oof, I had not thought of that, the stuff I got in the northern Midwest countryside was barely weed.

yup i through out may be 2p’s of bud just not long ago, i pitched everything in the trash at day 56. they nice fat stinky buds that just looked amazing, how ever with pm on them and i still had a two week finish then a two week dry there was just now way i was going to be able to get it clean enough to let it out to ppl. i was the line between ppl going to the er and not and by simply biting the bullet and throwing it away i saved a lot of ppl from some very bad issues, i know there are some tards out there that would have smoked it no matter what was said to them.

was it hard ohh hell ya it was hard but the choice was no real choice at all and after the throwing out of the plants i felt pretty damn good about myself for doing what i did. it right then that i knew 1000% that i did the right thing by doing that.

yes onward brother …

For sure, not a very hard choice for me - they are dumped and out of the yard, once you mentioned it spreads after the chop I knew I wanted it out of here.

This particular tent is away from the others, and vents directly outside, pulling air in from the room. I have 3 plants in early flower in there - none show signs as of yet. I am spraying those 3 today and then a full bleach of the tent (not forgetting the filter covers!).

Hoping to avoid a full basement disaster

was always told that pm will not stick hand around anything not living so walls floors tents carpet should not be worried about but i do worry and i worry hard about those things when im dealing with pm.

i CLEAN everything my new thing is everything gets a sulfur bath long before they get big enough to make it a pain in the ass to do. it seems like ahh shit really but man you get a huge piece of mind when this is done, just knowing 100% of your plants have been treated is a huge boost in being comfortable in moving forward with your grow. now this all done in veg usually earlier then later due to the plant size, how ever after the and if there is a long veg time afterwards i spray them again with sulfur just to be sure. once i hit flower i just hope i have done a good enough job that i do not have to worry but yet yet yet that worry is always there for me. if i fill at all bad viby i’ll hit them a final time around week two of flower and after that its going to be what its going to be, how ever by then i do fill pretty damn good and i just try to move along and do my normal with my girls and i try damn hard not to just constantly worry about.

last time i was pm free and this run has started off with a complete dunking of my plants so i fill decent right now and im ready to just get with.

I watched you doing that over in your log - did not seem like too much trouble, I am going to read that over again and start doing that. Peace of mind is quite valuable to me these days, that is for sure. I believe I will find the sulfur and method in your log…I am going to join you on the bath train.

I even have a bunch of plants that are probably around the right stage to dip, no better time than the present. I haven’t seen any signs of it other than the tossed plants yet, and believe me, I can’t stop checking.

Yessss! I know earlier in the year you ran into quite a few bumps in the road, great to see things have turned around over there. Truth is you grow about the healthiest plants I have seen, I have borrowed many of your ideas since joining up here, and will continue to steal ‘em :joy::sunglasses:

Onward, indeed :muscle:

What a helper this fella is.

And has anyone had a plant like this one? Each bud is several large foxtails, super-frosty. Just wondering if it is a bad thing for any reason. She sure seems like she’d get me high.

It is Blooze Traveler - bb hash plant x PB breath and she had just always been this way. I rather like her, grew a couple other of this strain that weren’t like this.

Lol like this?

Genetics. That PB breath for sure. Not a fan of the look myself but a friend of mine that oversees a rec grow is always giving me stuff that looks like that and they grow Do-Si-Dos crosses religiously.

Hey, how did you time travel to the future and get my bud???

Yep, that is it haha. I don’t love it either!

Hahaha, pretty spot on huh? Definitely just a physical expression kinda thing. Looks great on your end, I’ve seen way more extreme. Smoke will be A-OK!!

All I wanted to hear lol. Seriously though, even the frost coverage is spot on, mine looks just like that. She seems to be heading to a quick finish too, I think.

Nug I posted was Rated R (directors cut). A lot of the inbred GSC stuff has this trait. Some people really love the way it looks. It sure photographs well, it’s just all calyx

Ok, lots of stuff going on following my PM scare.

Anything close enough to harvest that was anywhere in my grow without any pm found is hanging now.

Blueberry milk got the chop, I am bummed I couldn’t finish her, she was bulking just like mother’s milk can. But I have 4 of her clones ready to flower, and about 15 seedlings of the F2 from her.

Mother’s Milk F1 #1 got chopped early too.

And blooze traveler got the axe too.

Made a badass leaf pile area surrounded by fencing for the pugs.

I have ridden myself of anything near the pm tent that was in flower - mothers milk, blueberry milk, a TS diner, a rhubarb, etc…. While I did not see PM on these, the proximity was too close to risk.

But I had a tent on the other end of my home with plants that are mid-flower that I am hoping are ok. They have been treated with copper spray (for now) and inspected daily. If I see so much as a spot then the whole tent needs to go.

Meanwhile veg is still ok, also on the other side of the house. So all of my quiver is ok, I have a few fems lined up, and my hunt for BB milk F2 has begun.

Pics coming next time on those. So far, so good here.

ahh good you were able to save some harvest and get that PM under control.

im about to spray all mine with this product.

not a PM cure more for protection seeing they have all already got the full dunking.

peace brother …
